Really love all the ideas I get for guitar, and other instruments, by watching you two experiment with all these different pedals on your harp. I think watching how different musicians experiment, especially when they play a different instrument from yourself, can really spur ideas, and a different way of looking at how to incorporate new soundscapes into your own work!

Emily, you've single-handedly modernized the harp for me. Perhaps undeservedly, I felt the harp was an anachronistic instrument; an instrument past its time. But your charming experimentation has completely changed my point of view. You're very talented, and I love watching you explain your process. You're just such a natural on camera, and your music is great!

The first few minutes I was like, "Nah, I don't need this pedal...I am finally going to save money and not jones for a pedal Emily demoed". Then you paired it with Screen Violence and my wallet started crying a little. Then you did Floating / Dreaming and I started to cry a little. The sounds you are able to make are just otherworldly beautiful. At one point in Floating / Dreaming it sounded like a Japanese Koto and it was just...perfect.

@AgonalRhythm2 жыл бұрын
OBNE stays killing it. They aren't always the fanciest or intimidatingly deep, but they are the most thoughtful with a unique approach pedals out there. I've been trialing pedals for processing the signal from my mic'd acoustic drums and even just having the ability to have two independent filters is great, let alone the cross-rouring options. Since I come mostly from a synth perspective, I always hope to see effects pedals that have LFOs with not only tap tempo, but also clock/midi sync. But that's not really trivial to solve and almost no one offers that, but one day! Also! Pale white and green really is a vibe, for the pedal, the studio and your outfit.
