Two for one border cards

Welcome to my channel. Although my videos are in a tutorial type format, I only really want to give you ideas on ways to use your stamps and dies in different ways, to get the most out of what you purchase. Most of my videos will be floral cards and aimed at the more experienced card makers, but I will endeavor to put some more simple designs in for the beginners.
This card is using a bunch of layered stamped flowers to make a border and then cutting it down the middle to make two cards.

Two beautiful cards Helen, I think I would make a total disaster of the cutting the flowers in half. You can’t buy presss n seal here in Australia. Would have to buy it online from America and it would take weeks to get here with COVID restrictions.

Thank you Yvonne, you could do it with something like low tack tape from a hardware store, scotch repossitionable tape or even masking paper would probably work. Or just glue them one by one which is what I used to do. Its getting pretty hard to get stuff from overseas with Covid isn't it. Stay well 🌻🌻🌻

Greetings Helen --- Gorgeous cards --- can you let me know something ? --- I am in the market to buy a guillotine cutter and that Tim Holtz cutter looks like it works good --- cut through the flowers like butter --- does it have a self sharpening blade ??? --- any help on this would be greatly appreciated --- have a great day ---- Ann

Hi Ann, I have only just purchased it, and only used it a few times, it seems really good, nice and sharp and accurate with cuts. I have used a rotary trimmer in the past, but I didnt find it was very accurate (top edge was slightly crooked). As for the self sharpening, I dont know sorry, but tonic have a very good reputation for their cutting tools. The only thing I would say against it is it's a bit smaller than I would have gone for, it takes an A4 sheet sideways but not portrait. I make slighter bigger cards than the US norm. I guess being smaller will make it easier to store in a cupboard or shelf though. I hope that helps 🌻🌻🌻
