Two Friends... Two Bikes - Yamaha MT07 Full Akrapovic | Yamaha FZ6 SP Engineering

Full Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust on the MT07 and SP Engineering Carbons on the FZ6. We put the two bikes through their paces with some random riding around in Manchester back in 2018 - unreleased footage that I never got round to using!
Thought it might be good as bit of a throwback, hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

If you haven’t been on Mortimer road yet (links woodhead to snake pass) I recommend that. Go up woodhead 1st then down Mortimer and then you can either go back over snake pass or through Castleton as motiver brings you out a little bit past that junction on lady bower. 👌

Watching your videos on the FZ6N makes me want to get one as my next bike. I live in the States though and I don’t think the Naked version is available 😔 I don’t care for the half faired version. I might have to get a Honda CB600F Hornet instead. I just freaking love how the exhaust comes out underneath the seat on the FZ6.

/!\ Important for A2 riders : for infos FZ6 ain't A2 legal, no matter what people say it's not. Like the Hornets (appart from the very first one). You can restrict them to 34hp but it still doesn't meet the requirements for the A2 licence. Why is that ? Because any motorcycle with more than 95 HP (maybe 94 can't remember exactly) while unrestricted isn't A2 compatible. Look at the Z800, not A2 compatible, Z800E = detuned Z800, A2 compatible. Some insurance companies will get you insured, but if you get into a big crash (dead bike, collision or even more damages like on yourself, very cost heavy) they'll look at your whole file and see that your motorcycle doesn't meet requirements and will fuck you from behind. Take the risk or not :)
