As a former Retired Navy Aircraft Carrier Captain and a Retired 747 Cargo Captain you have some great skills only a few can master. Impressive KZbin channel. I had a fast career and I know good people when I see them. I spent 20 years in the Navy and 20 Years Flying but I was also a Pilot in the Navy. I was up for promotion, but I wanted to fly went in the military at 17. Now back on the Sea riding the wind. My Boat is kinda like yours but also has an enclosed Pilot house for bad weather. It is a bigger boat however I am proud of you. It is hard to operate a Boat alone however anyone that can do that has my blessings. I like your kitty Mako mine is called Snyper a Black cat. Very Cunning very sneeky.

Great video. Lauren and Mako are an amazing team. Sailing to Brazil is not what we expected, economically independent, growing all their own food, including coffee and cocoa, producing oil, having a self-sufficient mind set. This country has a future. Here is an anchorage (S12.58, W38.30) in Salvador off the Port Captain's Office, adjacent to a small marina, paying $100 per month, accessing all their facilities like showers and laundry service. Just be careful, respectfully advising no night-time activities.

I spent time in the mid 80s in the BVI and the coral was so alive. Stag horn coral 15 feet across. Went back recently what a shame

When I am picking up a buoy single-handed I bring the boat alongside the buoy next to the cockpit so I just have to lean over and grab it with the boat hook. Once I have a line on the buoy I simply walk to the bow and secure it. I find this easier than going to the bow to pick up the buoy.

When Maria would come home from a trip lasting more than a few days our boy cat would give her the cold shoulder for awhile. The reefs were fabulous. That spiney lobster looked tasty. Jayden (sp?) is a great friend to you. I didn't pay any attention to the "bad" audio. I enjoyed this video as much as I always do.
