Telephone Line should be your next E. L. O. song. I saw them in 1978 in Portland, ME, during that tour. They were supposed to emerge on stage from a spaceship just like the one on that album cover. Turned out the prop was left behind in Montreal. Didn't matter. They still put on a great show.

Electric Light Orchestra / ELO brings back a lot of good memories of my child-hood days in mid/late 70’s era. Reminds me of watching the movies that came out like the first Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, King Kong starring: Jeff Bridges, Jessica Lange and Charles Grodin etc. I was in my elementary school days. Good catchy tune. LoL 😂 🇺🇸👍

I HAD to crank this one up!! I love watching you ladies react to all this different awesome music. I have two recommendations for you, both of which I think I have recommendated (yes, I made up a word) previously. One from ELO and one from The Warning. First, from ELO, "Mr. Blue Sky". If you react to it, be aware that there is a separate coda, like a separate section at the end after you think the song is over. From The Warning, from their new album, "Revenant". It features amazing lead vocals by Paulina, and it is different from anything you have heard from The Warning. Finally, thank you for reacting to Electric Light Orchestra!

You should give Jeff Lynne's other band "The Traveling Wilbury's" a listen it's probably the last rock super group it consisted of: Jeff Lynne (ELO) Tom Petty (Heartbreakers) George Harrison (a member of a little known group from Liverpool called The Beatles) Bob Dylan (solo artist and noble prize winner for literature for his lyrics throughout his songwriting career) Roy Orbison (solo artist) all huge legends in rock. The drummer is Jim Keltner who some calls him the greatest session (studio) drummer in America.

Not unlike "Living Thing", which you both heard, this song had diametrically opposing values of positive musical sounds with negative lyrics causing people to wonder what they're really listening to but one cannot deny how positive the music is no matter how downbeat the lyrics may be. Just recently found your chanel. Let's do back a year to your reaction to stairway to heaven. Jimmy page is a great guitarist. The twin neck Gibson SG he played isn't really a difficult instrument to play. You have a 12 string where the strings are tuned half a tone higher it gives the instrument a voice. You'll notice Jimmy Page used it at the beginning for the melodious intro. The second guitar is the same instrument in 6 string its harsher sounds more aggressive. Robert Plant's vocals are outstanding! You mentioned guitar and piano I recommend you watch Dire Straits. There are THREE numbers I recommend. 1. Dire Straits Tunnel of Love 1986 Sydney Australia. Keyboard Player Alan Clark is a wizard. Founder member and guitarist Mark Knopfler has a unique playing style he doesnt use a pick but plays blues style using his fingers and can vibrate 3 strings at the same time. 2. Telegraph Road Seville. 3. Sultans of Swing from the Sydney concert in 1986. I'd be interested to see your reaction. Now ELO. You might want to watch a film of them playing they often played with a full orchestra on stage. Lovely to see you reacting to bands who are now in their 70's😊
