Thank you Dana's Faith for exposing us all to some Mongolian music! I loved how this song sounded and really enjoyed seeing their instruments. I know I've been pounding the drum for Canada, and will continue to do so (I'll even send the Hu if I need to!), but I would also like to recommend some pan flute music from the Andes Mountains region of South America (Peru maybe?) as a nice change of pace, since you same intent on expanding your musical mission world wide! This is based of a VERY old war chant that that the Great Khan himself had the Mongolian Horde chant before going into battle. Each of the animals mentioned--Elephants, Falcons, Horses, Lions, Snakes, Tigers, Wolves--play HUGE roles in Mongolian & Chinese (and subsequently Japanese & Korean) mythology (so basically most of Asia at large), and each creature was a personification of various enemies or foreign territory...hence, if you come as Tigers, we'll come as Lions (I.E: Baihu, the White Tiger God, was the Chinese God that depicted The Far West).

G'day from Australia, another great reaction from you guys. I have been following from close to the start of your reaction journey and am loving your growth as music lovers. You approach each new experience with open minds and are being introduced to some great music. My suggestion for International Monday is a young band from New Zealand called Alien Weaponry who sing a lot of their songs in Maori. Alien Weaponry - Kai Tangata is a great introduction to them with a great cinematic music video. The guitarist/lead singer and bassist/backup vocals are 16 and the drummer/backup vocals is 18 in this video. Hope you check it out and enjoy it.

Another great reaction by two of my favorite younger reactors. I was led to the Hu Band by BabyMetal, that wonderful gift that keeps on giving. I find this funny because, other than both of them being awesome musical groups, they have very little in common. While BabyMetal's brand of kawaii metal threatens to suffocate you with sweetness and cuteness, the Hu Band's style of hunnu rock practically reeks of testosterone. Just as the video for Sabaton's song The Last Stand can make even the most ardent atheists shout "In the name of GOD!", this video for The Wolf Totem can fill the most dedicated pacifists with the urge to leap on a horse and go conquer some place. There is just something so primal about this that can get the meekest people fist pumping and chanting HU!, HU!, HU!, HU!
