Not sure if it’s really a rogue like but a game called Saturn dx is kinda like a high score chaser based of old school arcade games. Very very fun game definetly recommend you try it out! Love the vid tho keep it up! ❤

My issue with Dungeons is exactly what you touched on towards the end. I’m ok with RNG, but facing off against someone who only gets 20 or 21 is impossible to beat if you didn’t get the right card to screw them up

Yea. The dev has said they are working towards rebalancing, but it just can be so hard to actually win. I've won two runs in almost 15 hours

I mean, at least nova drift is original. Degenerate gamblers is literally just a Balatro ripoff trying to ride off the wave of Balatro, which is a terrible game but all indie games do nowadays is copy off popular games. Please for the love that is everything holy, no more horde survival and gambling deckbuilders we have way more than enough. Why do all indie games do nowadays is copy, and yet everyone eats it up? Every indie game nowadays takes inspiration from the same 5-6 mega popular indie games. The creativity is gone, they only care about popularity and comparisons from people looking for similar games to (super popular indie game) while stating that no other game will compare to said super popular indie game.

I hate to break it to you, but Dungeons and Degenerate gamblers was announced before Balatro. The creator of Balatro even states that on Twitter and enjoys the game himself I can agree with some things you say where a lot of games will just rip off other games and the creativity doesn't seem there as much, but there is still a lot of incredible indie games coming out. Not every game needs to reinvent the wheel.

They aren’t the same. The problem is people trying to compare Dungeons to Balatro. Two very different games

@@MochaSlushes I don’t think it can really be considered gambling without any money involved. Pretty sure anyone who makes an entire game by themself is far from uncreative and any game that sells more than 10 copies is probably not horrible. How about you make a video game and then we’ll listen to you?
