I own a midway Frankford arsenal platinum tumbler that uses stainless steel pins to tumble brass that is lightly corroded. You tumble the media(stainless pins) first in like 2 tablespoons of dawn (original) for about an hour. Rinse the pins in a bucket and put them back in your tumbler then put about 2 to 3 hundred cases that wont fit in the neck of any of the cases. Fill it with hot water leaving about an inch of air space, add 2 good squirts of dawn and Lemi shine(get at Walmart) which is used in dishwashers, add a 1/8th tsp of lemishine to your solution, put lid on and tumble for 2 hours. Get a brass separator from midway and their magnet(pins are magnetic stainless. Rinse till suds are gone and tumble pins out in separator. Then take a good hair dryer on a towel and dry them. In the end they will look brand new.

I just can't believe how careless you (and others I've watched) are with some of the items. You paid good money for this unit, you would think you would want to get something out of it. That glassware is worth at MINIMUM .50 cents each...and a lot of them. It adds up. Why do this sort of work if all you are looking for are the big money items??? And, you could AT LEAST give the items you consider trash to a charity shop of some sort. All that brass has value, too.

just because you find guns depends on what type they are what state you are in and Wake County because not all you buy you can sell or keep it all depends on the local laws in the federal laws which area is so just because you find some guns don't mean you get to keep it take care of your tools because I take care of you and then the money maker and take care of each other and take care of yourselves and good luck at 1

You should do longer unboxing videos and show yourself opening the contents and showing them to the camera for people to see like jewelry boxes, jewelry, wallets, purses, flip through books to check for money and check greeting cards/special occasion cards for money.

That does happen sometimes, but I don't think that's what happened here. Based on the other things I found in this locker, I don't think these safes were put in storage with anything valuable in them. To me, it looked like someone cleaned out their dad's stuff and just put what they didn't want in the storage locker. No way to know for sure though.

A lot of times the owner of the storage space will take the good stuff out when they realize they can't afford to keep paying for the space before they get locked out by the facility. Space auctions are quite the gamble.

@@greggiles7309 Its illegal alright but so is drinking and driving, murder, theft and illegal drug dealing (etc), but people do it anyway.. as soon renter of the unit becomes delinquent in payment, the storage facility cuts the lock off and place's their lock on it and they notify the renter to tell them they have X # of days to pay up or they lose their property.. GUNS, if you buy a unit and find a gun(s) in it, all you do is have the police check run the serial #'s and if they come up clean, all you have to do is go to a gun store (FFL) and pay the $25 fee (here in Texas) and register the gun in your name.. IF its a black power gun, you don't have to..

@@whatsinthenextbox Yes sir... In NC where I am if there was one gun or a hundred, if they were all long guns and not subject to NFA restrictions then they would be considered as purchased in a single transaction and the only requirement would be to file a single form 4473 and pass the standard background check (assuming the purchaser of this unit has not had their rights to own firearms revoked for cause). I believe many states would require a form 4473 to be filed with the BATFE due to the transfer of ownership. Some states may require one per firearm, others just one for the entire lot and yet some others may not even require that per state law again assuming unrestricted long guns. If handguns are found then that's where things get much more complicated with permits required in many states, pre-licensing courses and some states also require a shooting proficiency test be passed prior to permit issuance. Many states would not require any extra steps if the purchaser already holds a firearms permit however an updated background check could be required depending on state. If purchaser is a FFL holder (Federal Firearms License, or the license required to own a business that engages in the sale and purchase of firearms) most likely would not be requires to do anything other than perhaps record them into their inventory along with the date of purchase. If this happened to be in NJ then a FOID (Firearms Owner ID) is required to own even a basic pellet or BB gun (yes, seriously). This isn't even getting into sale restricted firearms, title III/NFA firearms and/or accessories, exemptions for antique and collectible firearms (muzzle loaders or flint locks for example). It can really get to be a real mess and total headache if something is found depending on where it was purchased (state in which the storage locker is located), specific laws of that state and what licenses the buyer has, if any. Even though I have a permit to legally purchase handguns, I won't even deal with the hassle of buying new models from well known online gun stores that sell in high volumes. Some models can be $50-100 cheaper however federal law requires that they be shipped to a FFL dealer in the state of residence of the purchaser, of course there is a fee for that typically ranging $25-50, some charge shipping and others do not, when picking up at the in-state FFL once you accept it then if there are any problems they become your problems so if purchasing that way it is important that the buyer is able to detect any defects or other problems just based off a visual and limited hands-on (but no firing) check of the item, so in the end what little is ended up saved would be better spent at a local gun shop who will be easily accessible after the sale should any problems arise. Also it's not unusual to get some discounts on maintenance and/or customization from a shop if it is/was purchased there. That said, aside from some highly desired models or collectables, it is unlikely that a used firearm found in a storage locker could be sold for much, especially without knowledge of how well it was maintained, if it works properly or even at all, if parts were modified, repaired or replaced which any of would significantly reduce the value of a collectable, and of course for firearms made in part with wood then the condition of the wood, any damage, repairs or attempted reconditioning also significantly reduced the value of a collectable. Basically firearms aren't typically what you would want to hunt for in these auctions. Aside from all of the legal issues that could be a factor, there are far too many things that could turn what some would think would be a great find into a fancy paperweight (and that's assuming the purchaser either has the legal right to possess/own or has a gunsmith render it inoperable according to the laws of that state that it is no longer deemed to be a firearm).
