Thanks guys , I value yals opinion , but he arranged his vocals exactly how they needed to be ,what artist doesn’t save some for the end ? I mean where’s the fun in that ? The ending is epic, every single vocal coach critique I’ve watched has been blown away by it ! Mariah did her whistles in the back ground he brought them to the forefront w that high falsetto inbetween that shit was insane ! Watch Hers so u can see how much he elevated his cover !!! This is one of the most popular covers he’s done because of that ending alone , he even did this in his car w a phone and that’s it ! Master class act - thanks again 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi , I just love when we enter Gabriel Henrique's Universe for his Mariah Carey's renditions . Here we get a grandiose cover of her song "I Want to know what Love Is " which is itself a cover of " The Foreigners' song . Gabriel starts softly , with his languid and captivating voice . He has this soft and smooth , but , at the same time very powerful voice. Then , there are his amazing runs to embellish the melody and his sudden rises in the treble which can always surprise us . And here , he is able to suspend notes for a very long time, the famous Whistles !!!!! Extremely rare in a male voice !!! Stunning !!! This ending is just MINDBLOWING !!! It's a a Firework of Whistles getting higher and higher !!! Gabriel Henrique is a True Talent with Phenomenal vocal abilities !!! Just SPEECHLESS !!!! Lee does anything ever please you? He's a,counter tenor and more comfortable singing in a higher pitch. Every reactor and everyone was blown away by this when it first came out. He whistled up to a D7 which is not an easy thing to do. Anyway, thanks I geuss for your reactions. When I get the chance I'll donate for him singing the ssme song in his car. Completely different arrangement, completely different whistles and he still hits a D7. Stu ❤

I very much like the delicate vocalization at the beginning (which conveys the real emotionality of the lyrics), the melismas, and of course the fireworks at the end. Btw, perhaps we need to start using the proper pronunciation of his last name. Let’s see how that is handled during AGT. Maybe he’ll simply become known as Gabriel. Wouldn’t that be cool?

The video is a bit "old". And Gabriel has improved a lot throughout this process that he decided to delve into, whether in his English or in his performances in general. And if I understood asking a man to have the treble as one of his great potentials, sing Mariah Carey in a more masculine tone, it escapes common sense. Just like Mariah Carey performing a Fred Mercury song, for example. And a constructive criticism I saw on another channel is that Gabriel should move more or use other cameras in his videos so that the VIDEOS are visually more dynamic and attractive.
