اصحاب کہف کے کتے کی نشست و برخاست کا تذکرہ قرآن میں آسکتا ہے تو ایک صحیح العقیدۂ مسلمان اگر اپنی دعا کی قبولیت کی امید بڑھانے کے لئے اس کے برگزیدہ نبی اور مقرب بندے یا ان سے منسوب کسی متبرک چیز کا وسیلہ پیش کرے یا کسی متبرک مقام پر جا کر دعا کرے یا اولیاء و صلحاء کی صحبت میں آجائے تو وہ اللہ کے قرب اور اس کی معرفت سے کیسے محروم ہوسکتا ہے کیونکہ اللہ کے بندے تو رب کی معرفت سے آشنا کرنے اور اس کی رضا کی راہ دکھانے کے حوالے سے وسیلہ ہیں

حدیثِ پاک:سرکار صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے خود ایک نابینا شخص کو ایک دعاکے ذریعے وسیلہ کی تعلیم ارشاد فرمائی، چُنانچہ ترمذی شریف میں حضرت عثمان بن حُنَیْف رَضِیَ اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُسے روایت ہے :ایک نابینا بارگاہِ رسالت صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم میں حاضرِ خدمت ہوا اور عرض کی کہ آپ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم اللّٰہ تَعَالٰی سے دعا کریں کہ وہ مجھے آنکھ والا کردے۔ حضور صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے فرمایا:اگر تو چاہے تو میں تیرے لیے دعا کروں اور اگر تو چاہے تو صبر کرکہ وہ تیرے لیے بہتر ہے۔ عرض کی کہ دعا فرمائیں، حضور صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے اسے حکم دیاکہ اچھا وضو کرو، دور کعت نمازپڑھو اور یہ دعا کرو :اے اللّٰہ میں تجھ سے مانگتا ہوں اور تیری طرف محمد صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم کے وسیلہ سے توجہ کرتا ہوں جو نبی رحمت صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم ہیں ،یارسولَ اللّٰہ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم !میں آپ کے وسیلے سے اپنے رب کی طرف اپنی اس حاجت میں توجہ کرتا ہوں تو اسے پوری فرمادے۔ اے اللّٰہ عَزَّوَجَلَّ!میرے بارے میں حضور صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم کی شفاعت قبول فرما [1](راوی بیان فرماتے ہیں )کہ وہ شخص جب آپ کے فرمانے کے مطابق دعاکرکے کھڑا ہوا وہ آنکھ والا ہوگیا ۔ ۔۔۔۔ ترمذی،احادیث شتی،باب ۱۱۸، ۵ / ۳۳۶،حدیث:۳۵۸۹

Dear brothers and sisters, there are different ways to do Dua but one way that I am aware of is "writing letters to Allah SWT" when you need something. This way, you can achieve good focus as well. One question to all of the community. When you are writing a letter to someone, you are actually addressing him/her directly. So you always start like "Assalam-u-Alaikum...". Interesting question is, how would you start when writing a letter to Allah? In my opinion, our Prophet's (PBUH) teaching is to always say "Asslam-u-Alaikum" when starting any conversation with anyone. So based on these teachings, will you say "Assalam-u-Alaikum" to Allah SWT? Interesting?
