Two Laps of Sonoma (Sears Point) on a Yamaha FJ-09

Thanks to Z2 Track Days and @YamahaMotorUSA for putting on an awesome couple days! We had everything you could need... motorcycles, hospitality trucks, an umbrella girl, and of course Sears Point Raceway at our disposal.

Did removing the hand guards help settle the bike at all?

I never had stability or wobble issues with the guards on, I removed them to get more airflow on my hands while riding in summer. Since this video I have also installed an Ohlins rear shock and cartridge kit, and that has made the biggest difference in handling.

I did end up removing my guards and getting heavier end links definitely helped with high speed stability. The stock suspension could still use an upgrade. I do a lot of open desert touring so triple digits with wind definitely was a improvement for me
