Lions in this case luckily drank for a while so that we could get into position for the best shots possible of them drinking out of the waterhole the bush is very dry this year and this is the only water in the area of S118 / S1119 juntion.
They are really very thirsty the rest of the pride was lying down next to the large reservoir just at the back at the waterhole.

If the bush is very dry this year and this is the only waterhole source in the area then what is the Park authority doing to provide more water resources before we start to witness wildlife perish? I really hope SANPark & KNP officials will take some measures here to protect mainly the endangered lions, leopards, cheetahs elephants, giraffes & rhinos. It is already a well-known fact that poachers are wiping out lion & leopard population within KNP.
