We got back to our video roots by doing two junkyard crawls in the same little town in Nebraska. The amount of vintage and classic cars was astounding. First, we went back to Watt's Repair & Salvage in Wymore, NE. We have been here before and it is a massive yard. We were looking for specific parts, but filmed the fun. We still haven't seen everything in this yard.
Second, we had heard about this nearby junkyard full of muscle cars, but never knew where it was. We found out from Watt's that John's Muscle Cars was just 8 miles down a dirt road. We were dumbfounded by the 1000's of cars there. It was crazy. We barely scratched the surface there. We will definitely going back to both of these places!!
We found Chevys, Mopars, Fords, Mercurys, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks, trucks, and many more!!

My love of junkyards goes back to 1963. The state took away a man's flat land for a new road. He was left with a house on the side of a mountain in a very scenic river valley. In protest he pushed a shitload of vintage vehicles off of the mountain. I was 6 years old and definitely appreciated the natural view but those old cars dripping down the mountain were just so freaking cool looking. The archives of the Hartford Courant or the Waterbury Republican may confirm this tale. What cemented my love of junkyards was a ancient guy on a hill in the cold rain. He knew everything he had. My brother's 65 Suburban hood was halfway up the mountain on the right. So the old guy suggested we take his car to take a look. It was a 1939 4 door Pontiac. Their aren't very many places like this anymore and my brother was a competent driver, no matter the challenge.

It's amazing to see that these cars are still around. Most of the old iron junkyards have already been crushed out.

17:02..hood emblem and fender spears say that is a '58 Chevy truck...25:28...MAN, I'd love to have that 292 out of that Chevy tow truck!..I love 'em!..my '70 C-20 has one, but it's in bad need of an overhaul..over half million miles on it..they are NOT light on gas, but they pull like a beast!...30:12..NOW it's starting to get interesting..348 and 409 stuff!..37:10..'59 Chevy..looks like Biscayne..no chrome trim...unless it has been pulled off...maybe a Bel Air...39:16..'66 chevelle sedan..45:40..about the "bump" on the back of the '58 Impala roof..the Impala had a completely unique, shorter, lower roof...shorter(lower) windshield...unique rear quarters, trunk...in fact, I always heard that a '58 Impala was unique from the rest of the '58 Chevy line from the firewall back..'58 Impala was available in 2 dr hardtop and convertible only...

@ 7:46 - Are you sure your friend doesn't have a Pontiac? The '55-'57 Chevy body panels (roof, trunk lid, and doors) are interchangeable with the Pontiac. I don't believe they are interchangeable with the Olds though.

4:10...that Dodge extended cab is most likely a '73..possibly a '74..if you had shown the grill, I probably could have told for sure..it's not a '72, as the extended cab wasn't introduced until '73..and it has the in-cab gas tank, which was changed to an under-bed tank in '74, or maybe '75 for light duty trucks, so it's likely a '73..not likely a late '70's truck, definitely not '80's...

That 1967 Impala at 28:50 still doesn't look too bad. At least what you can see. That's only patina, which in that format seen is still harmless. Need to look at what can't be seen before making a true conclusion. If is good needs restoring & loaned to TV & film companies to make something set roundabout the time that was new or nearly new.

US-77 to E South Sage Road is Watt's Repair & Salvage google maps. At some point, when departing from the North end of US-77 travelling Southward...you'll come upon a wide left turn in US-77. You will want too slow down here, 'cause you might miss the ( shortcut ) Vereying Right onto S 36 Rd heading southward. This will intersect with E South Sage Road. Turn Right onto E South Sage Rd. If you miss this right turnoff, keep driving South a ways down US-77 to E South Sage Road exit. Turn Right onto E South Sage Road. Watt's is up the road aways, on the Right side of the road. [ This is all farm country folks. Use google maps or whatever means you prefer too verify locations of ANY nearby OPEN gas stations. Plan ahead. A good rule of thumb is two pack an extra 20 gallons of gas. Or you might lose your vehicle to the salvage yard. It sucks rolling up on a CLOSED gas station in the middle of nowhere. ] Good luck.

PLEASE HELP ‼️‼️‼️‼️ I’ve got a 1976 Chevy Itasca RV on a Chevy p20 chasis, the system is a 350tbi. After I got a new alternator put in my gages spin crazily, they ALL spin besides the battery gage one I’ve noticed. I’ve gotten it looked at by 2 mechanics and the wiring is fine according to them, they say it’s the cluster panel itself but I struggle to understand that as they were working perfectly fine before the new alternator. Also there’s a green wire, it was connected to something then I discovered it burned off at the end. I also noticed there’s two green wires coming from the headlight switch if that matters at all, dark green and light green. At this point I’m wanting to check it all out myself, have any advice?
