Trend in NY/NJ/CT area is to grab a simplex freq. & make a repeater with an odd offset. Most machines are quiet here with the exception of the machines of a few big clubs or regular nets.

Hey brian your so knowledgeable man thanks for all your videos i was wondering if you can help me connect a raider controller to a vertex vxr9000u i have a db25 cable with breakout board connectors i tried to match the pins from both manuals repeater and raider but im not getting it right because the led lights are all solid except for receive is off talk and listen are constanlty blinking dimmer than the rest i appreciate it if you can help i have the manuals if you need to see them thank you for all you do!
