New to your channel, but came from Midwest Magic Cleaning and I love it! As you grow, your community will understand that you can’t be everywhere at once. It’s just basic math. I know the algorithm gods can be harsh, but hang in there because word is getting around. I will now be bingeing every video you’ve ever made. ❤
@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp7 ай бұрын
Aw, thank you! And I had to laugh when you talked about the algorithm Gods because I was just talking to Mack yesterday about how we should do a video of something that represents the algorithm and us bringing sacrifices to it and worshiping this algorithm God because that is what it feels like sometimes, like, "Have we displeased you in some way algorithm? How can we make it right?" 😅 Mack and I have a very similar sense of humor so it was fun to laugh about that for a minute. A word of warning if you are binging all of my videos... the first three or four I put music in and some of it was very obnoxious.🤦♀️ I seriously had no idea what I was doing, but that was a less than a year ago, so I have come a long way, a lot of that thanks to Mack.😊 I wish I could go back and redo those, but that's not really how this works. Anyway, thank you so much for being here and that's sweet of you that you are going to go watch my other videos.💖🙏

Thank you, Mira. You have always been gracious and kind. I know that I didn't disappoint you with the scrapbook room. I just have a picture in my head when I go into a room and, when it doesn't turn out like that, I feel incomplete. And I know we aren't done either. Now that I have freed up some time this month because I did cancel that lady I was telling you about that was going to take so much time and energy, I can actually come up probably a couple more days this month and really get your scrapbook room in order. But I will probably give you a week or so in between coming up so that you have time to go through and Purge things as we pull them out. I think I expected too much in a short period of time and that's just not possible when there is so much for you to go through before we can really organize it. Anyway, I will be in touch! Love you, friend! ❤️

I comment on videos maybe once a year at most. Just wanted to say, I had got myself into a situation of complete cleaning paralysis due to a combination of factors- some of the same factors that people you have cleaned for struggle with as well. I hit a point of desperation earlier today and searched for ‘extreme cleaning’ and your videos came up. I watched two of them while psyching myself up to just START CLEANING. The way you talk to and about your clients, and seeing how a mess of the same sort as mine evaporates under your hands, finally made me get up and just start. I watched another one when I took a break earlier and now I’m watching more of them to wind down ready to get back at it tomorrow. My kitchen is finally clean. It has been months. I hope you choose to do whatever makes you happiest; if that doesn’t end up being cleaning videos, so be it - but I did just want to add my voice to the chorus of people telling you that you are making a difference for us just by doing what you do and sharing the process with us. A lot of the time I feel like I just have no idea where to begin because I am scared of getting it wrong, but watching you just dive in with enthusiasm and scrubbing and even admit when you wish you’d done something differently, makes me feel like ‘heck, I may as well have a go at it’. I am not exaggerating when I say that I was working with, on average, 10cm squared of available counter space. Today I finally got to remember what it was like cooking a meal in an actual kitchen rather than a chaos dump. Thankyou so much.

Wow, I don't even know what to say. You made me feel so good. 🥹❤️🙏I have been reminded so much these last few days that my videos aren't just about the people I help, but that other people are getting some value from them and tackling their own messes. I don't feel like I articulate things very well or explain my process very well all the time, but I'm so happy to hear that you are at least gaining some perspective on things, that you aren't in this alone, and that it really starts with just moving things around and figuring out what's there and doing just a little bit each day. And it sounds like you have learned that there is no wrong way to do it. I used to get a lot of comments in the first few months of my videos that I was cleaning something wrong and it used to really bother me because it's not like I'm a trained professional. I just like to do this stuff for fun and, to me, it doesn't matter how you get there. Then other people started pointing that out as well, and I like that I can show it doesn't have to be done exactly like a professional would do it. Sometimes it's messy, but you have to do it in a way that works for YOU. Better is better no matter how you got there. 😊Anyway, thank you so much for your comment and I'm so happy to hear that you are starting to make progress with your own home. Best of luck to you!🙏🥰

Bonnie, a reply is never expected by me, so please don't feel the need to reply. If you need to charge for the cleaning jobs, but still are able to film them, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that you would still have an audience. It doesn't have to be a free clean for me to watch. Many KZbinrs have sponsors, and their subscribers don't seem to mind or unsubscribe. You're honest about who you are, and it's a big reason why we watch your videos. If you show cleaning videos where you say you also got paid for all of your hard work -- no big deal, I'd still watch them. Aurikatariina has sponsors, and I watch all of her videos. I'd watch yours too.😊 I love to organize for other people and clean whatever spaces they let me clean up. Your videos inspire me, truly. With that said, if you need to take a break from videos to earn a living, then go do just that. If we self care, we can care for others better. What do the flight training instructions always say?...put your own oxygen mask on first before helping others. If you can't breathe, how can you expect to help someone else breathe? Do what you gotta do, we'll be here. Final thought: you and your mom are awesome!

I just need to focus on the good I'm doing and not spend too much time thinking about the things that I can't change, like the homeowners. You are much too hard on yourself. Think about how far ahead of the issue you were able to take this home, not how much more you had wanted to do. The homeowner is closer to a house that has more function than previously, and it is all because of YOU! Everyone appreciates you and is in your corner. You need to be in your own corner, because you deserve it. Good on your mom for helping you to remember how to have fun. She is a treasure!

Over the years, I have been the recipient of many well meaning people, giving me things. I was a single mother of 4 girls after my husband passed away. People gave me clothes and things I could sell in a yard sale, which didnt always sell, and that began my collection of stuff until the next yardsale. I held on to things, thinking it would eventually sell. My sweet neighbor left her entire house and all her possessions to me when she passed away, now leaving me under so much stuff. I am gradually getting rid of things and not depending on a yardsale. Finding a home for things has been difficult but it feels really good when things go out the door. You worked so hard in this house! Keep in mind you gave all that you had to give and don't beat yourself up for doing what you've done. You did an awesome job!!!! You should be so proud that you gave your time to help. No matter what the end result was, you need to give yourself credit for all your hard work. It was not wasted time and I know she appreciated all the work that you did. This was a great video!!!!!

One of the things about Auri is that she focuses on the fun in cleaning and I think she picks houses that aren’t large and crammed to the roof. What you are doing is such a godsend, and I want you to know that you’ve done everything you could in the time you have. Maybe one of your clients will be ungrateful or just so buried in their own problems they just go right back, it’s not worth taking all that in and feeling badly. You’ve done this fantastic job, we all can see it, not perfect but it’s progress, and we hope your client can move forward, if not then it’s outside what you should expect anyway. Your childhood wasn't a lie for the pose. Your Mom was way ahead of her time! There is a scene from Grey's Anatomy that talks about a study that says a "superhero pose" provides benefits. The pose is very similar to the pose you do. From that scene it states if you stand in the superhero pose for 5 mins before a big task you will do much better and feel better going that task. I googled "superhero pose" and there's all kind of benefits! You can keep doing it.😊

Bonnie, I can relate to how you’ve been feeling too and trying to stay busy focusing on things I can control if that makes sense. When I’m “down” and that’s been a lot as I care for my 86 year old mom with Alzheimer’s 24/7, am disabled myself and can be physically, mentally and emotionally exhausting most days. Late at night when the world is asleep, I clean, organize, declutter, etc. I know it sounds stupid but at least I feel like I’m accomplishing something, something else to focus on and it does help to have a fresh perspective.You’ve done an amazing job with your mom and the homeowner❤. Happy Easter from our home to yours and remember that this too shall pass my friend ❤

How about your own cleaning company? You can definitely do that right? Also, you have to remember to cleanse your energy. Empaths especially have to. Go to the beach get in the water, walk barefoot in nature, that’s called grounding, meditate, do positive affirmations. Salt baths. Get protection crystals. And just pray. 🙏
@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp7 ай бұрын
I initially thought about starting a cleaning company, but that's a whole different kind of stress and a lot of training and hoops to jump through to get licenses, etc. I think if I can just do two or three paid jobs each month until things pick back up with KZbin, we should be okay. Plus, I forget that we do have the option of taking out equity on our home if we really needed to. It's just a little rough patch, but I do need to take some time for myself.😊🙏

@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wpplease please do not take the equity out of your home. Talk to a financial advisor… heck call Dave Ramsey and ask him a financial advice question for free. Idk just an idea.

Don't worry. Besides taking money from our 401K, that would be the very last thing we would do because we are pretty frugal and aren't afraid of finding unconventional ways to get by, but it is a nice thought to know that, if things were absolutely turned upside down, we do have that as one option. I doubt we would ever get to that point, though.

@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp no, you're no changing anyone, but you help others change their circumstances to the better. As I told Mira at her latest video, I have tons of papers from genealogy, tons of yarn, because I can't necessarily find a certain color and then I go out and buy some more, because I need it. (Bummer). But Mira is helping me, cutting my tasks in smaller bits, and I accept, that I can't do what I once could. Her craft room is a bigger task, than any of you thought. I found a number of boxes with paper, knitting, cooking recipes etc. I don't NEED them, but I can't let go, so I scan them. It goes REALLY fast and the renovation workers refused to empty our waste paper, LOL. So I throw out a LOT. (My husband take the paper to the dump, they don't complain). And I feel SO great getting it done. But am I finished? Far from, but I'm getting there. (And the dump has a container for paper and other paper products).

Hopefully with some paid clients too, everything will work out for the best. You can't help people if you can't easily afford all the supplies and fuel and associated costs, which as you showed is a lot!! so it makes sense to focus on your own finances for a while. ❤

I appreciate your work, Bonnie! My favorite things are your cleaning dirty kitchens, and ovens, I enjoy your helping Mira too. It may work better for you to have the owners step away while you clean; maybe giving clear directions and limits then letting you go. I cannot handle a lot of discussion when time is so precious; but I know you do the very best!! You know what? Try having a prayer with Mama before going inside daily, for mental protection. It does help. ❤️

I was planning to comment this sometime soon anyway but this seems like the right place for it. In a conversation in the comments on a video a few months ago, you mentioned LDN. I talked to my doctor about it and started in late December. It has been life changing. It's been 25 years since I had this much energy and this little pain. Thank you for sharing yourself with us in so many ways - you've changed a lot of lives with this work.

I am so happy to hear that! I had forgotten who I mentioned that to. I think there was you and one other person who mentioned that they had chronic pain. I'm so glad to get an update and to hear that it's working for you! I have tried for almost a year to get my friend, Tisha, to go on it, but I think she has some reservations as does her doctor just because it's not a widely studied thing. But it's completely safe and has had a lot of research done about it, so I'm not sure what the holdup is. I have told her it has been life-changing for me as well. In fact, I forgot to get a refill last month and so I've just been stretching out what I have and ran out about 3 days ago and I can tell. It mostly helps with my joint pain. I have back pain that is a separate issue and it does help with that, but not the same extent as all of my joints. Anyway, I'm so glad it has worked for you and thanks for the update!🤗💖

I’m in South Carolina so it would need to be remote and very behind the scenes. I’m sure you got what you need but wanted to offer.
