You need reach, crossover appeal and a great personality to be considered a great ambassador (in my opinion) bumstead is a really nice guy as well but kills Wes in reach and crossover appeal. here you see at 19:15 that wesleys biggest weakness is that he has no clue how to pose and show the lats propper when the arms are not raised…. and terry isn’t showing him the bodybuilding way Chest compeltely relaxed thoracic spine/sternum pushed out forward to the max lean slightly back abs are stretched not crunched shoulder into max inner rotation and pushed down in the ground then flare out shoulderblades to the max without crunching the spine and abs again you will feel a pull on shoulders NOT chest especially if your shoulder mobility isn’t great and if it’s really not good you will either not be able to flair out the shoulderblades to the max or if you force it extremely you will automatically crunch your spine and abs That’s something you can work on with a physio and that ability is one of the biggest traitmarks of cbum, yates and brandao and is super impressive and a lot of bodybuilders are not able to do it right If you master that your lats will look wayyy wider and you have the illusion that they insert lower from frontal view he is doing it right with the arms raised to show the biceps so i guess mobility issue? because mainly with arms down its a mobility thing

So true what you were both saying about once you get over 30. Im 46 now and still train very hard but in doing so (or being able to do so) means being more mindful in exercise order, selection and execution. I trained from my teens through till my late 20's got big, lifting heavy, indestructible, then took some years off and came back to it in my late 30's felt amazing, got back into it doing what I knew worked best and within a few weeks had tendonitis in both elbows, a dodgy left shoulder, and a sore left bicep tendon lol. took a long time to recover from all three but a valuable lesson learnt
