Thanks so much for these instructions. I have been trying to knit for years and wanted to make a hat without using circular needles. I had to use a different needle size since I could not get the gauge right, but your instructions were so easy to follow. I have been making hats now to use up my bits of yarn and have made over 8 of them so far and given them away. Thanks!!!

Thanks so much! I learned how to knit in what my Mom called the ‘German way’ many years ago. I learned much later that it is called Continental Knitting. It is very different than the North American way and I found it so confusing trying to learn different techniques because no one seemed to knit the way I did! But you do!

I didn’t have the needles to sew sooo I used my fingers and it turned out fine so if you don’t have the sewing needles don’t think you can make this 😊
