Cool Adam! I see you're learning the territory, which must be exciting for you. Hey, for some fast and furious SEPTA action head over to Lansdale, it's quite the transit hub, the Reading station from 1906 is still there and intact, and you might get some Pennsylvania Northeastern trains in as well. After you're done with tht head over to Henning's Trains on South Line Street, a great train shop I always try to hit when I'm up that way. Thanks for posting!

Thank you Wayne, I’ve been to the area a handful of times before moving here, but I do have to explore more around the Philly region though.

@@LibertyRailfan Maybe you know about this one already Adam but let me suggest the old PRR and Reading Schuylkill lines. They ran from Philadelphia up the Schuylkill River on opposite sides until they reached the Phoenixville area then switched sides. The Reading passed through Valley Forge (it's Norfolk-Southern now) and the old Reading station is still there in the park, built to a colonial style to fit in with the surroundings. It's a picturesque place but I don't know what the train frequency is on either line. That whole area's pretty picturesque to begin with. I always enjoy visits there.

It would be awesome if the Temple station could be used again for future generations!

@@brianfalzon6739 just as long as the station is preserved is great. Reading and Northern just uses the branch for a handful of freight customers now the excursions happen on the R&N main. For R&N to use this branch they have to go via NS get here.
