i just saw the zoom505 video and loved how much you love that pedal, i found a zoom505 in the street and i go home not expective it would turn on and it did ! but no manual and no nothing, just the previous owner effect created, so thanks for showing a little bit of how it works so i can come up with my own pedal effect ♥

Hey Gabor have been away for a while dealing with some horrible family stuff but back now with a lot of vids to catch up on….. as always a fantastic video and an amazing plug in was not a bad setting everything really sounded amazing. Really impressed how flexible it was with different pickups and pedals very dynamic

Thanks for this! The clean boost and TS-ish pedals sounded great. The Rat-ish and Muff-ish sounded exactly like those pedals always do to me...nasty. Like a speaker clipping badly. For the heavier end of things I would have preferred a high gain preamp style pedal, like an Empress Heavy or a Friedman BE-OD. Never cared for the hard clipping of a fuzz. But to each his own eh?

Excuse the absolute newbie question.........doesn't the "blownout-ness" depend on the interface as much (or even more) than Genome? Is one (Focusrite, Audient, or whomever) more high-gain friendly than others?

In my opinion the overdrive before the sound interface is not usable: or could be if you keep the gain or volume to low value and drive on medium low....

I think it sounded pretty good even at higher gain settings…I guess it all depends on what kind of sound you are after
