Eurorack is soooo versatile. While there is always the importance of the pedalboard because of the foot control ..... combined with the expanded features of the Eurorack modules, especially when those two worlds crossmodulate each other....I think it is the future.

Killer guitar, but the pickguard shape looks really "wrong" to me. That "cut" is very similar to the Revstars and the new BB basses. Same for the inlays. I think Yamaha is trying to give their electric guitars and basses a "family feeling" for marketing purpose

Thanks for the demo! I'm in a similar boat.. I have a Classic Vibe Jazzmaster (lefty).. I put in Brierley Burgsy pickups and they are completely 'meh'.. My Mrs has a Mascis with the P90s and they get that Sonic Youth/Dinosaur clangy/sonic sound.. but these Travis Beans give it a more clangier and 'clear' edge it seems.. a bit Albini style, especially on cleans.. I'm considering putting these on my RevStar Std. The humbuckers on those are way too one-dimensional and boofy.

Why pay for a Klon pedal this sounds good!

With all the furore around the levels of gain and amp sims recently...it makes sense to play about with whatever you have at that moment for the song.I end up just experimenting with input gains/output gain and not caring about the latest ' rules'.It's likely that you'll love it more that way.Just play 😊 !! There's no doubt about it, this pedal and the Grind were two of the first modem Dirt Pedals as we know them to be.

I have one .. uses from 2002.. My friend gave to me.. He got since '98.. Run into a crunchy Marshall ,with mid cranked up.. fine and tweak the bass & high eq from Hm-2.. cranked the level and very minimal gain.. It roars!!! Still on my board until now.. What a bless..

This is a pedal that you can play for days and you always discover something new...

ToneX sounds more like a real amp and Amplitude sounds congested. I personally never liked Amplitude for that reason. It just sounds muddy and not enough clarity. I think the ToneX has is a better system.

Very nice review, thanks guys. It is a nice reverb but not for that amount of money. For that price you can almost get Meris Mercury X, Empress Effects Reverb, Eventide H9 Max, Source Audio Ventris Dual Reverb, Death by Audio Rooms Stereo Reverberator, Strymon Nightsky Reverb, Neunaber Illumine Stereo Reverb,Vermona Retroverb Lancet. They all sound much better and can do far more. Maybe for half the price it could be ok, but for this price it is a hard pass for me.
