Hello Miss Jenny. I am glad to be introduced to you through your collab with Karen because I think you are a hoot. I enjoyed your pours and your creativity so I will be back. Annemarie is such a talented artist and a REAL person... I too have been watching her from my beginning with pouring and it has made a big difference. This collab tribute to Annemarie is very warm and thoughtful and I am sure she will get a big bang from it. BTW... your Naples pouring reminds me of a very colorful bird. Lovely.

It is beautiful. You were so brave to try the yellow background and have inspired me to go beyond the typical black and white backgrounds!! Just found you today. I have been studying pouring by watching these youtube videos. So glad I found you!! I have only poured two test canvases, and have a good ways to go before pretty stuff starts happening for me. But I am a good artist, with an excellent eye, and instinctively know what looks good or not. I have no doubts that I can figure this out. Just time and patience before you and I are doing a collaboration!! LOL!

AnnaMarie is amazing and yes I have been watching her for years!❤️🥰 But because I am an artist too I love Her creativity. She helps me think of things to paint. You can use house paint if you have it. Also, using a different color background would be awesome. I would choose turquoise. Putting a little more paint right in front of where you want the paint to go will help it float. And the second one is beautiful!

I think most of us all love and admire AnneMarie and put her on a pedestal all to herself. I consider her the founder of “modern” acrylic pouring. I know she didn’t invent it, but I truly believe its success and popularity are a result of her. I know we all can see a painting and immediately spot an AnneMarie color palette. Lol. I love the first one. I really like when the cells are a little "wonky". Everyone seems to want perfect round cells and what i see a lot is that there's a boring similarity to a lot of paintings on you tube. I do not mean you or Karen. I love you both. I have to say the yellow piece is my favorite of the two. The colors are so captivating against the yellow background. I have to tell you that i was really excited to watch your video. I have watched all your videos more than once. I'm a big fan of you and Karen ,so, what could be better than a collaboration between you two! : )
@JennyPost5 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Oh, I honestly do think a lot of my paintings have been boring... it is part of the reason I have burned out from time to time over the past couple of years... They all tend to look alike. I am pushing myself to try different techniques and move into different color palettes now though because I NEED art and painting in my life... and the fire has rekindled! I appreciate hearing your thoughts on wonky cells!! There is one I did last month that I will be posting in a few days... I actually adore the wonkiness of the cells that slid off the side. Thank you for watching and sharing your ideas!!

I love every painting you do, but that second one was just amazing! I also discovered pouring by coming across Annemarie Ridderhof's videos. I had been off work sick and watching a lot of KZbin. I didnt think I had a creative bone in my body or that I would ever be making paintings, but I gave it a try and now I'm doing other fluid art as well! I love it. I totally get what you're saying about how it changes your life in different ways. You were also one of the first people I watched after I discovered Annemarie. I've been a subscriber since you started but I got a new phone and made a new account to go along with my Instagram. You turned me on to the Pebeo Studio Acrylics and that's how I found my favourite colour, green blue irredescent. I love the blue green too. I'm glad to see you doing more videos! I suffer from chronic pain and a number of other things that keep me from painting every day, but I can watch videos on days I can't pour. I'm going to have to give your pouring medium a go now that I've figured out the consistencies for different paints, pouring mediums and some pouring methods. Thanks for sharing🙂

thanks for the demo. i haven't tried doing one with the method you used. i will try it. yours look great! your cells look way better than mine ever do. i wonder if it's because you use liquitex and gac and i only use glue all? i'm wondering why you would need both liquitex and gac?
@JennyPost5 жыл бұрын
Hey Lisa. Thanks for watching! I use both liquitex and GAC because they both do different things for me. Specifically, the GAC800 prevents crazing. Since I use really thick paint, that is super important. I have seen people get AMAZING cells with glue all! Have you been pouring for a long time? It took me three solid months of nightly experimenting before I started getting cells that I liked. Just keep at it, take notes, don't repeat things that don't work and you will eventually get there!! I am going to try a glue all recipe on a video in the very near future too! I never have, but I have seen such pretty results! Hang in there!
