Hahaha, I am sitting in the public library watching you attempt this and first I have to say I applaud your patience but secondly, thanks for the enormous laugh I got when you said dammit... pretty sure I got hushed by a few library goers, oops! And then again when you said utter crap.... you crack me up! I would like a list of yahoo's acceptable curse words, I find myself holding them back sometimes when something doesn't go exactly as planned but I feel it would be better for my mental health if I felt free to let one slip every now and then! Your chameleon pour turned out GORGEOUS!

Oh wow...The final result is fabulous...I don't use silicone anymore but a few years ago when I did, I stumbled across this using a contaminated toothpick lol...you can create all sorts of designs with it...caterpillars, ammonite fossils, tortoise shells...I think maybe your paint is too thick or maybe that you use pouring medium...I'm not sure...never really used pouring medium, just floetrol and water which worked well. Nevertheless I love the final swipe...and totally my personal preference. I had a dwarf donkey when I was a kid and he would eat a whole bowl of cherries in one go, chew for about 10 minutes and then spit the pits out one after another once he'd done 🤗🤣🤣

Ya know, one thing that has become so clear as I have done more art is that everybody has different tastes! Things I can't stand, other people love. Colors I love, other people might hate, and on and on... It is easy to get stuck in our own perspective, so I love hearing when people see things differently than I do

I think for your goal you had too much paint on the canvas..... & maybe a tad too thick. Jenn talked about the paint being thinner than a usual pour. But! I really loved 💜 the piece!!! The colours & cells within cells were fabulous. 🌻Nice work. Keep trying on the reptile skin 😉👍🏻

I don't plan ahead well enough for that most of the time... I paint one night, edit the video the next day and post it (typically). Hi, I just wanted to say your picture came out way prettier and cooler then what you were going for sometimes you just outdo yourself. I did want to inform you that I tried this a couple of years back and not really thinking about it much the problem is there is so much editing on all these videos and things and little tips they leave out and thats why when the regular person tries it out it doesn't always work out. but, I did find someone who does these pourings and is great for the beginner as well... he shows you how someone can make art without spending a lot of money. I will share his name I actually saw it last night myself I hope you enjoy it, Rick Cheadle and theres no talking I guess just very quick get to the point videos
@JennyPost5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Making videos is very hard and you can't please everyone. Beyond that, pouring is hard. A person cannot expect to be get all their information from videos. They absolutely have to put in the work themselves and experiment if they want to be good. That is what I had to do and that is what everyone had to do that has succeeded at this. It takes lots of practice and experiments. I have known of Rick for years. glad you like him.

It didn’t work because you had way too much paint under your swipe. You should have tilted off the excess paint before you swiped and then your chameleon cells would have worked. Or you could put less paint on to begin with. Nice save of the painting though.
