Really love your videos and want to try the two queen system this year. Question on both these videos you refer to “checker boarding” what does that mean exactly? Thx!

Means to put a new frame with no comb on it between a drawn out frame. Then continue that process all the way throughout the box.

Did you have any issues with robbing or absconding when you moved the top hive that close the to bottom? I’m almost ready to remove my top hive and I’d actually like to move it side by side of the bottom hive.

No issues with robbing if done in a honey flow. Should be fine to put them side by side

why didnt you put two LR bodies on top and go to harvest? im amateur just asking for advice.
