In terms of Seonghwa, he’s not the dad because Hongjoong is the dad, the toothless thing is because people say he looks like him with his face shape, eyes, nose etc.

Omg i love ateez! That last clip where you asked if it was them singing the "baby~~~" part, it was an iconic group called SHINee. That is from one of their songs called "ring ding dong" which is highly joked about by kpop fans just because of that intro part mixed with ATEEZ's song Utopia. Ring Ding Dong came out in 2009, so it definitely wasn't Ateez 😭, that was just the old kpop look and sound back then.

1:50 Yeah a lot of Atiny take pride in that specially since KQ entertainment was a nugu (Korean word for "who" which kpop stans use to describe a super unknown group/company) that started out with 10 employees. The company wasn't planning onv debuting a group of their own but they changed opinion when Hongjoong send them a mixtape he made and he said he wanted to be "an idol who writes his own music". So despite not having experience on how to train a kpop trainee they accepted him at the time they were not accepting trainees and taught him skills needed to be an idol. Hongjoong trained alone for 6 months before Yunho and other trainees joined. Ateez were the first group to be made by kq and the first boy group not from the Big4(Big3[YG+JYP+SM]+ Hybe Labels) to sell 1M+ albums in the first week and they did that without the influence or popularity of a big and medium company. (In the kpop industry the biggest and most successful groups come from the big4 and also a group's popularity and success is heavily influenced by their company idk exactly why but there are exceptions like bts, Mamamoo, FiftyFifty etc.) Ateez are also the second boy group to debut in the top 10 UK Billboard, first 4th gen boy group to be invited to the Grammy museum for interview and are also the fastest kpop group to sell out 100k tickets to their concerts. (They accomplished that as a rookie group in 2020. That world tour got postponed but as in 2023 they have had 430K people attend their concerts.😮) Ateez are not as popular in Korea like other groups but their international success and fandom is way bigger internationally so they were able to have a world tour 4 months after debut. You can see their growth; in 2019 there was 800 people in their New York stop in their first tour then in 2022 they sold out 19.5k in one of their American stops and 20.3k in Paris. They also recently became the first 4th gen group to have a concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Their storyline and some of their music has been planned predebut. Ateez are known for their "hard" and "noisy" title tracks but they've always have had "lighter" songs since debut. My "hard hitting" recommendations: Wonderland, HALA HALA, The Black Cat Nero, Wake Up, Fireworks, Rocky, Don't Stop, Pirate King, Thanxx, The Real, To the beat, Dune, Django, Outlaw They're also known for their stage presence and performances (I recommend checking out all their performances for the tv show "Kingdom" where they remixed some songs of their own and from other artists.) Thank you for checking out Ateez and to anyone who read my long comment about some of their origins and achievements as a group. I just subscribed for Ateez and other group's reactions. Have fun on discovering ateez :)

You're description of their beginning isn't quite accurate. Their CEO had already created a company to manage Block B (it's what the BB in BB Trippin stands for) and placed it under KQ--one of their floating pieces in the intro says Block B and another says Seven Seasons, their sub label. They already had a boy group and an affiliated choreography team.
@Shrekteez Жыл бұрын
@@flaggov6949 Yes, thanks for the info.☺️ I meant their first boy group as in made by KQ ent, not SevenSeasons. Do you know what is KQ Productions? I don't think it's a kpop group sublabel like SevenSeasons so idk what it is.

It’s wholesome for me to see you two wanting to get to know Ateez more ☺️✨✨ This guide, as it says in its title, is just lighthearted. Hence why it doesn’t delve into specifics and merely gives you a glimpse into each member! kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6W7ZKxvf7-beKM This, on the other hand, is an ‘Ultimate’ guide for introducing ATEEZ. It’s lengthy, and you can choose to watch it in ur own time or react. It covers their pre-debut days and the whole group dynamic before introducing each member with a load of information. Everyone is introduced in order of oldest to youngest, so this is just a disclaimer in case you get confused by the way they are listed when it comes to joining the team! It’s not a ‘documentary’ per say, but I think it is currently your next best alternative! 😁👍 ATEEZ’s music is definitely very diverse, they’re very experimental and _still_ are! Which means you guys could potentially discover hidden gems along the way once you dive into their discographies when you’re ready ☺️☺️❤️❤️ I look forward to see more! Loved your reaction ❤️❤️

If you'd like to watch some live performances all their tour DVDs are available here on yt, uploaded by fans both as separate songs and the whole things, KQ never blocks them so they tend to be the safest bet for reacting. Some of my favourite more intense songs that were on the setlists so far would be Guerrilla, The Ring, Hala Hala, The Real, Rocky, New World and everyone's favourite, so called Fever Medley (Good Lil Boy/The Leaders/To The Beat). The latest ones, Halazia and Bouncy with the other songs from Outlaw, might be harder to find in safe versions, you might try the Outlaw showcase, there's plenty of clips KQ hasn't bothered to block, but I haven't seen anyone react to it yet. Either way, definitely YES on watching live performances, not many groups in kpop come even close to what Ateez can do.

"Skinship" in Korean is more like a term that is used to describe physical affection in general. The way they get touchy with the same sex, especially boys, was something that was really unfamiliar to me in the beginning, coming from a different cultural background. In western countries that is acceptable for women (although somewhat sexualized imo) but for men not really, right? Now I've gotten used to it and think it's sweet that men can express themselves to each other that way :3

The end part is confusing if you haven't heard it before. Someone edited together the ending part of ATEEZ's Utopia with Shinee's Ring Ding Dong, and it's been used as the background music for hundreds if not thousands of memes. Typically, the memes start with showing something tranquil or nice while Utopia is playing, and then cut to something funny or odd when Shinee's Jonghyun (pictured) sings, "Babaaay" (or Maybe not sure which word he's singing).

K-pop artists and fans don't actually like AI. The way AI stands now a company or anyone can take someone's face or voice and have them do something or sing without any compensation or $$$$. We don't like that. A person should be able to owe their face or voice. That's one of the reasons the actors are striking here in the US.
