Ken is an introvert. He came from a far-flung province when he joined SB19 and was the odd one out among the other members because he was not used to city life and as such he felt awkward and kept to himself most of the time. But, ironically, people noticed him all the more because of this; he piqued the interest of so many and soon he was the most loved but also most hated. But he just went on doing his own thing, adapting the proverbial “making lemonade outta lemons thrown” at him, and every chance he gets, he thanks the people who have believed and supported him (family, friends, fans, and Father Almighty). He said this song is exactly for all of them.

He's always with this band when he does live band sessions. They're also the band who did the live band version of SB19's concert last year. They're phenomenal. I think Felip might have been the one who had connection with them and started inviting them to his gigs because they're so good. To me Rock/ rock ballad and R&B are the best genres for Ken.

I'm a 5 month old A'tin. Ken is my bias and when I figured he's a Bisaya from Mindanao, I cried cuz I'm also from Mindanao and there's few famous Filipino acts who grew and raised from Mindanao (like Ken, KZ Tandingan and our former president, Duterte). Ken making songs in Bisaya made me happy. I don't even need translation to understand it. Thanks for supporting SB19 and Ken ❤️

Felip was in Dubai last Dec 23 and performed this live in Winter Festival. He said he composed this for himself, for his family, for his fans and for God. This is in Bisaya, just like Palayo. Kanako means "Me, mine". But if you read the English subs, it sounds more like a worship song, showing gratefulness for being redeemed and saved. He also performed in Abu Dhabi yesterday, Dec 24. He was so busy, with his sister's wedding last 19th in their province, guesting in Aegis' concert on the 20th and flying to UAE for Christmas guestings just to make his fans happy. Ken also released his cover of Mistletoe. Merry Christmas to your whole family and more power to your channel.

KANAKO is def my fave among all his solo single/EP releases! The message is deep and heartwarming, the sound feels like an anime OST (he loves anime, btw), and Rocksta FELIP suits him to a tee! Personally, I think FELIP suits Rn'B and rock genres better than anything else though we all know he can do them all (ballads, EDM, hiphop/rap, pop, etc.)

Felip said it is a song for a'tin particularly. Coz as you don't know he was unfairly criticized and been receiving a lot of false accusations and hates. But his fans or the a'tin chose to be with him/ his side when all those things are happening. I commented in the other RVs that Kanako sounds a bit like Toe (instrumentation) and The Blue Hearts (style). Both are Japanese bands. I like this a lot too. Felip's voice is well suited for this genre.

To the fandom, FELIP is known as the introvert, doesn't speak much, doesn't post often on social media, and doesn't do a lot of fan service. But boy! Look how appreciative he is to everyone who has shown him love. Also, one of the amazing things about FELIP is that he doesn't box himself in a certain genre or style. He keeps pushing the boundary of what he can do, and we are not complaining.
