Someone mentioned in the comments that Touchy Reactions channel (Cindy & Ryan) has a video of them meeting Gigi Vibes at the airport in Toronto (they flew from Tennessee). They also posted concert footage of Gigi singing & dancing to STANDING NEXT TO YOU (Usher). Yes she knows how to dance too! I heard they were able to sing a couple of their original songs that night. There's a long complicated story behind all this, restrictions from management & label, thsts why they couldn't really perform their original songs from their 1st album, in their hundreds of gigs they did in the Philippines this past year. I still don't understand everything but in an interview, she said shes out of the contract now. They're writing songs for the 2nd album, which they will have control of this time around. I'm mentioning this bc u always ask if they have original songs. Most fans don't even know they released an album in 2022. Songs are in Tagalog & 1 is in English. Hope they write both Tagalog & English songs this time bc they now have an international audience.

@@TripTipsPodcast she makes it look so easy. This was actually a request during a livestream, & they had not rehearsed it at all. She actually missed coming in on a verse somewhere in the early part of the song, but they decided to upload it anyway. They have a pinned post on the video saying they edited it. They basically recorded over 3 words (its obvious bc her mouth is closed lol). This song is actually hard to sing, it's very high, but Gigi makes it look ez. When the legendary Natalie Cole sang this, she would switch to falsetto/head voice on the high parts. Other Filipino singers have covered this song & do the same, they switch to falsetto/head voice. Gigi is the only singer I've heard so far who doesnt switch. She sang this song in 1 placement, as in full belt, without any strain. It's amazing how she does this. I used to sing when I was younger so I notice these things lol. She has a unique & interesting placement & vocal range.
