Thunderous was a response to antis and haters saying they are just noise music. So they said bet. You think we were noisy before just call us the Thunderous Ones. Great clap back song. They have a couple others though Cheese is probably my favorite of them. For movie type videos check out Freeze. For hard hitting check out Venom, Maniac, Victory Song (says preformance video but its an actual video) and Miroh. You cant go wrong with Stray Kids. They have a new album releasing on 6/2 and just released a trailer for it.

Yes, you got it right. After God's Menu went viral, many haters said it was noise music, so the next SKZ album was called Noeasy (Noisy) and Thunderous is basically a "Loud? Let me show you how good noisy music can be" response. In this song they incorporated many traditional Korean instruments. Another song in the same album, "Cheese" is also a reply to some of the things being said about them and their music. And then they added a couple of beautiful vocals and meaningful lyrics songs, like Secret Secret, to the album, just to shut the dummies up. Because they write and produce almost all of their music, they like to experiment. Their debut song MV, District 9, is basically about breaking out of an institutional like, monotonous kind of place and the lyrics (IMO) are a statement that they are not the same as everyone else. One fun proof of that is their song Christmas Evel. Totally outside the box, although their other Christmas song 24 to 25 is more traditional and very pretty. They have a large discography, and many different sounds. Maniac, Freeze, Case 143, and Venom are other big hits. Time out is fun and, when it came out, it was a surprise for being different from their usual style. They also have a few Japanese releases that are very good. Some have Korean versions also, but the Japanese MVs don't have subtitles. Circus, All In, and The Sound are amazing. A fun way to get to know the members is by watching the FAM MV (Korean Version) where they introduce each other in turns from youngest to eldest. They are coming out with a new album called 5-Stars on June 2nd. The first trailer for it just came out. They recently celebrated their five-year anniversary so there is speculation that the title is a nod to that.

Stray Kids have a discography that is incredibly deep. Yes, the M/Vs are top tier, but their music is all their own. Self-produced, these guys can all sing, rap, dance, and write their own music. That talent amazes me. They are masters at word play, so album names, song titles, lyrics have deep meaning. Almost every track is iconic, but here are a few with M/Vs or performance vids to pay attention to: -Freeze -Venom -Maniac -Give Me Your TMI -Red Lights -Any dance practice -performance vids MAMA 2020, MAMA 2022, Golden Disc Awards 2023, AAA Awards 2022, -all Kingdom Legendary War episodes

Hi.I'm a 65 y.o Stay; Stray Kids has been bringing lots of joy in my life (and I have a wonderful life - not some old lady that do not have anything else to do or to love). With them I started a jorney through my youth and the choices I have made. Following them since their beginning is like have grandkids that live in another country. They are hard workers, they are kind with Stays and extremely talented people. My favorites are EASY and UP ALL NIGHT (very funny). Their vibe is completely different from other groups may be because of Bang Chang and Felix that have a more ocidental vision, since they are Australian. IDK. The case is that they are good enough to change all k-pop industry. I love them. My kids.

if you really want to journey into Stray Kids, I suggest looking up a song called "3Racha" - there isn't a full/real music video for it, but there are color-coded lyrics that are (for the most part) correct. 3Racha is Bang Chan (2:20 the leader), Changbin (the guy who started this song) and HAN (the one rapping at 4:00 )and are the in house members/producers of Stray Kids. They were doing their thing before Stray Kids even debuted and are like a foundation of musical genius.

One of my favorite things about Stray Kids is while they retain their sound but still make their songs have different feels. One song may have more of a grunge feel while the next one will be more dance club and then you get something cutesy like Case 143.

So this is a little bit about what people say about their music being noisy. The album this comes from is called “Noeasy” (noisy). There are some over arching storylines in the whole of their music videos but…. I wouldn’t worry about that stuff yet. Thunderous’s Korean title is sorikun - which is an older name for a singer of a particular type of traditional music, but also someone who is really good at being loud, in literal translation. They are basically saying that they are proud of who they are and will stick to their principles and create what they want to make, in regards to music. Notes to take into account for this, Changbin the initial rapper, is taking on a pansori inflection when he says ‘go back woodcutter, nothing to cut here’. Jutdae in that line doesn’t have a direct translation but it is like your principles or having a spine. I’m not sorry, I’m dirty is a play on words as well - because sori is Korean for noise/sound. I love all the songs off of Noeasy, so so much - it has a lot of really solid b-sides. Perhaps with your next you should look at Hellevator - which is their very first song together (when they were a group of 9) and before their official debut. It’s a meaningful song to them all. Miroh, Back Door and Maniac are other title tracks to get to as well. If you ever react to some of their Japanese singles (which I do encourage, they are amazing), there won’t be subtitles available for whatever reason, so I’d encourage watching the m/v and then looking at a lyric video. They also released an album called skz-replay in December with 9 brand new songs, and 16 other songs that are solo or duet projects that were only released on KZbin until then. The first song is one called FAM where they celebrate each other and shout out each member, and it has an m/v, might help learn their names!

"CHEESE" by Stray Kids has such great bass for all of the song (I'm a rock fan and I love that song so much!) so I suggest (You are so right about how this is supposed to be a song against the haters, the album cover is NOEASY but when you look at the art, it looks like NOISY and the first few songs are basically songs just saying "yay, we hear you, but we don't care," especially "CHEESE." The album title is also essentially saying well, if you are saying our rap/vocals/dancing/songs are bad, well look at all we have, it is not easy to do).

They are super great at making hype song but equally talented at soft and deep emotional tracks. My favorite are Scars, Voices, Blueprint, Mixture Oh, and Neverending Story if you want to explore a different side. They have never limited themselves to one sound. They experiment with different genres in one song. Some of my favorites are Maniac, Case 143, Red Lights, Venom, Freeze, Side Effects, Third Eye, and Easy. They have always impressed me with each new song. I was lucky to see them in concert this year and it was so amazing.

Guys, I really enjoy your react videos, just vibing to the music, it's so nice to see, thank you Anyways I've been metalhead for most of my life and not so long time ago, by some twist of the fate (ok, algorithms), Stray kids came to my attention and I immediately fell for their music, I mean the scope of their creativity is mindblowing and their visuals (I don't mean just the appeareance, but the choreos, dance skills, their live performaces and the scenery of it, raps, vocals...) it's so unique, never have I ever seen or felt like this with any other artist...just wow A lot of comments already mentioned some M/Vs, but mine top picks are: - Venom M/V (dark atmoshere, sc-fi vibes) + Venom performance at MAMA 2022 awards (you'll see what I was talking about with the performances and the set) - Freeze (practically an action movie) - Case 143 (lovesong, but make it Stray kids style) - Maniac (speaks for itself) - I'll be your man (cover performance from Kingdom Legedary War, instant goosebumps) - Cheese (song dedicated to haters) - any song at The first take - as it speaks to itself, it's live and a single take in a studio (they performed Case 143, Scars, Lost Me, Mixtape: Oh, Scars and Slump) - Scars (slow thing) - Side effects (a hymn for migraine people 😀) - Miroh (amazing choreo base on haka, catchy as hell) - TOP + Slump (sondtracks for anime, TOP M/V came right out of the manga) And did I mention that they make songs in Japan and English versions too?

Also, Felix said the theme for Thunderous was dokkaebi, which is a figure from Korean mythology that could be roughly equated to a goblin. The blue flames you see are related to dokkaebi and represent dokkaebi fire, which is something you'd see around swamps, where the dokkaebi lived. The dokkaebi fire was how they marked their territory, so if you saw it you should turn around and leave, otherwise you might d**. So, this whole song and video can be likened to Stray Kids being *that* fed up with the haters and basically telling them "dude. do NOT push it."

If you like Stray Kids, you guys will love ATEEZ as well. And don't give up on BTS, the two songs you've picked were just not a good fit for you guys. Try MIC DROP, ON, or RUN BTS Dance Practice, those are harder-hitting songs and have more rap in them. I know you said some things that upset ARMY, but don't worry, you're new to the scene, so you didn't know BTS was picked on for some of the things you said so you hit some nerves from super fans. ARMY is very protective of BTS. Keep reacting to Kpop, I think you guys will like many of the groups. I'm a massive Kpop fan. By the way, I laugh when Jeremy mentions things like James Earl Jones, or older movies, and poor Darian doesn't know what he's talking about. Ah, thanks for making me feel old. Hahahahaha!
