They brought 2 because they most likely only have 2 that can fly. Our current fighters are useless and so out of date that we cannot participate in NATO exercises. We are losing our pilots to the airlines who pay more. If the F-35's ever arrive it will be an unfunded, unequipped shit show. Most of our tanks don't work, and our Navy is a disgrace. Why not just give up and let the Russians go anywhere they want. We will just stand on shore and throw rocks. I am from a military family and our soldiers, airmen, and sailors deserve 1000 % better and government after government plays the USA will come to our rescue card. If trouble starts, trump won't help us. It is imperative that we stand on our own 2 feet now.

Can you convince Canadian taxpayers we need to supply our military? If so please run for political office at the Federal level. I really don't care which party because none of them can find the political will to raise taxes to support military procurement. You'd also have to figure out how to fast track procurement through Public Works and Treasury. The USA Airforce complains about exactly the same issues. They too train in 60 year old jets. Most NATO countries have issues with supply. F35 AKA fat Amy, are not being delivered on time anywhere.

think again ... Canada protects the americans on the longest border they have ... that is the Canadina air force NOT the USAF .. americans STOP at the 49th parallel and only cross when INVITED ... as for cant make our own that is from 1959 when Deifenbaker signed the bomarc missile contract he also signed away the countries right to design and build its own fighter since the arrow was better than sr71 ... (it was armed the sr71 wasnt) ... and yes better and otherwise equal to with the ps13 engine according to all the calculations ... and to this day not a single plane has matched the specification the arrow was designed to NOT the f35 (all 3) not the f22 not the f18 not even the f16 ... and no the arrow was never a prototype it was a full production built aircraft with 37 on the floor and 6 flyable and 5 flew ... and those were beating calculations by 5% on the weaker heavier and less efficient P&W j75's with the ps13 expected to do 15% better than them and more ... . even better as of Feb 20th 2022 it will be 63 years since the arrow was cancelled and march it will be 63 years since the 15 arrow engineers saved the sr71 from the scrap heap before it could be produced ... thats right .... American flight is due to Canadian engineers ... and NO fighter flying today can say they didnt take something from the arrow as it has 15 of the firsts including wide spread titnaium and alloy use ... and thats 5 years BEFORE the sr71 could figure out how to use titanium effectively ... before march 59 the sr71 was swept wing after it was delta winged and flyable ... thats a program saved by canadian injun newity ... not american
