Two screens! Ryzen 9 7945HX! RTX 4090! In a laptop! | ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 2023

Just ordered one, i cannot wait to see it 😊 Coming from the zenbook pro duo, a great improvement would be to make an integrated "kickstand" instead of the paper thing they include. Working on it without a stand is pretty bad over a longer period. You have to be looking down too much to see the secondary screen and your neck will hurt. With a stand its solved. And talking about a stand, making the keyboard detachable from the laptop body would be another great upgrade. With my zenbook duo, i am always carying a folding stand and a bluetooth keyboard. Its a great setup to work on the go, but its very heavy and bulky. Making the keyboard and the stand integrated would really cut on the clutter i have to be taking with me.

@@KevinEvangelista i just don’t feel the need for a dual screen in a laptop, might as well use a full pc desktop instead if i really want dual screen 😅. And as for your setup and editing is way much better now. Keep it up bro!

Especially with the price that this laptop commands (Php 380,000!!!) you can actually set yourself up with an amazing home PC setup complete with dual or even triple-monitors that can do just about anything you might want it to. But then again, some people just want to go for the most expensive laptop there is just because they've got the money for it. Haha! Thank you very much, sir Jhay! I trade on the Stock market and have about 4 windows minimum open at all times, so having that second screen will be so nice to put 3 notification windows on the bottom one and my chart that I'm looking at on the main screen if I was out in public or while I'm traveling and on vacation

I love this laptop overall. Planning to buy this sometime sooner. The only thing I hate is even after you paid so much for it, like it literally costs 3,59,999-400k somethingv here in India. But they still don't give you any ROG stickers or at least only that animatrix LED would've been great too

You most definitely need a cooling pad. I recommend the IETS GT500V1. The laptop runs so hot that it will thermal throttle (~100°) when gaming. With the fan at max speed the temps will drop down to 87°.

But yeah, model ranges for the Zephyrus Duo 16 include either a 13th-Gen i7 or i9, then the RTX 4060, 4070, 4080, and 4090 laptop versions. And each variant can either have 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of memory, and either 2B or 4TB of storage. The model I unboxed in this video is the 'ceiling' model with all possible upgrades installed. @@benredlinski5924 No worries! I'm here to help. Memory is RAM. This generally decides how many things your PC can run simultaneously. If you're the type of dude to run 4 programs all at once and one is a chrome window with 70+ tabs on it, you need a lot of RAM. It also helps to get faster types of RAM. You're in luck, because the Zephrus Duo 2023 can be configured to have 64GB of DDR5 4800mT/s (megatransfers per second) RAM. Making it one of the largest and fastest RAM configurations available on a consumer-grade laptop. Storage is just that, storage. It decides how many programs you can install, or files you can store on your PC. The Zephrus Duo 2023 can be configured to have 4TBs of storage, which is a LOT. It's also PCIE4, so transferring files between a hard drive and your laptop should be fast, given that you'll be using the USB-C port to transfer files in between both machines. Hope this helps!
