Two Simple Water Reflection Approaches in Watercolor [GIVEAWAY EXPIRED]

Lets do some water reflections in watercolor. Often requested but I've never done a dedicated video to it. So here goes. These are two basic and simple approaches I use. Hope you'll give them a try. NOTE: Giveaway has ended.

Who doesn't want the package? 😁 "I want the package!" Thank you so much for your videos, you really are our very own Yoda... "always pass on what you have learned." It's a marvelous thing to be able to access and learn from a great teacher, even when continents and oceans apart! We're a little isolated out here from all the amazing watercolour supplies, one type of paper or paint, and definitely no pens! It would be marvelous to try something only ever seen in cyberspace. Our home is a small, floating space with little room for anything "unnecessary" but these would find a safe nook and a place on my "necessary" list. Watching your videos not only makes me feel a little closer to the rest of the world, they remind me to keep observant, curious, and excited by the world that I'm in. Again, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and inspiring us all. Padawan out.

Water isn't blue... The blue color of the ocean is a reflection of the color of the sky, just like our actions are a reflection of our thoughts, our paintings a reflection of our personality, and life itself only a reflection of what we allow ourselves to see... Watercolor reflections made of water itself, definitely my favorite topic for watercolors, it's all so meta... :)

A Remedy Project I’ve been battling cancer since last year (and before then I was fighting it unknowingly) and I’ve not long ago finished main treatment but won’t finish all adjuvant therapy for a decade. In my case it was hard to do art through main therapy treatments (mushy brain!) BUT the thought of getting well enough to do art kept me going. Good luck!

I remember my first visit being amazed that within only a couple minutes of driving we saw evergreens, palms, succulents, cactus, and bamboo. Here in the high desert, not so much!

When I was child, the great painter Andrew Wyeth was a judge for an art contest at my school in PA and I won the top prize for my watercolor. I know that I just requested to be put in the drawing. I apologize but I think I will withdraw my entry. They look really great but I believe the lightfastness in my case could be an issue. I even had removed some wc pencils some time ago because I don't want to get a comission upset. They look like great fun and great practice. Who knows maybe FC will really do what they can like the polychromos or the new Derwent Lightfast pencils. That would be awesome! Somebody definitely will enjoy those! Thank you.
