I’m late to the party here, just happened across this video while I was searching for reactions to their new single. But I wanted to stop by and say it’s awesome to see more ppl getting into metal and honestly enjoying it. Also, according to the band, this entire album was heavily influenced by Pink Floyd.

I think Nihil is pronounced like "Nile" here lol. Could be wrong, though. But yeah, this was a bit of a shift in style for them. I'm pretty sure their previous albums were a little less melodic & a bit heavier. Also, if you're a fan of music videos like this, maybe check out some Allegaeon videos in the future. They have a couple like this lol. And if you wanna hear more sax in metal (or stuff that sounds saxy): -The Silent Life or Subtle Change by Rivers Of Nihil (of course) -Cold by Winterhorde -Lucky Animals by Devin Townsend -Break Out by Black Sabbath -A few Ihsahn songs, mostly (if not all) off of his After album -Mr. Shepard's Puppy Clinic by Artificial Construct (instrumental song) -Five Words by Tera (shameless plug for my friend's now defunct band, RIP to them)

This is a different style for them because they are kind of a Death Metal band this was a shock when i had 1st seen this and herd this song from them..I have one of their albums before this one and it is much harder with Death Metal Vocals
