If people don't know why there is a ton of comments relating to Poland, the image is of the Polish Winged Hussars. Heavy Cavalry that existed during the Renaissance, undefeated for 125 years, they've built a reputation to be invincible or immortal so the image fits with the song name.

Ah Hussars. A symbol of Polish and Serbian union. Hussars were developed out of Serbian gusars, a proven great force against turks, of light cavalry which after the fall of Serbia under Ottomans rented their employment as mercenary force in other, free lands. One of which was Poland. Where they were shaped and became the famous Polish winged Hussars. Awesome.

Their Doom- Dark clouds covered the sky as soldiers approached a field. Gloom hung over their heads, for they knew they were riding to their doom. Bringing them to a halt, the General surveyed the field. The Captain met with him, "My scouts tell me they're coming." "Let them come." his leader scowled, "Prepare the troops." "Yes sir." As he waited, the General thought of his family. Days earlier while he was gone the enemy had come and killed them. He brushed a tear that slipped down his face, thankful no one noticed. "General!" Riders appeared on the other side of the field. Forming their lines, they chanted sinisterly at them. The General’s leather gloves squeaked as he clenched his fists. "They will pay for what they've done!" He snarled. But as the enemy filled their end of the battlefield, the General saw they were greatly outnumbered. The dark army looked like a giant, threatening to crush anything in its path. It was evident which side would win. "I envy the Immortals." His Captain said. "I do not.” The General returned. “The Immortals see more death than we." The General's men stirred uneasily. He could hear them murmuring their doubts. Nudging his horse, he turned to his army. "My brothers! I see the fear inside you that I myself hold!" He pointed at them. "But I pray you think of this! I hear the screams of our families as they were slaughtered in the night! The screams of my loved ones calling my name!" spit flew as he yelled, "AND TODAY I STAND!" Emotion flooded his army. They stared at him wide eyed. "Who will make these devils pay for what they've done?" He snarled. His men cheered and he spun for the field, "TODAY WE FIGHT!" Horns blew and the armies rushed for the center of the field. The General imagined the field like a white canvas, and the armies were various colors. As they crept for each other, they would soon see which color would overpower the other. As his men charged, time went slow and the General found himself looking at his life. He realized how short his time had been and it was going to end now. Regret filled him and he realized, "Perhaps I would like to be Immortal." Waking from his trance, he raised his spear and braced himself. The armies collided with a crash! The colors mixed and red merged on the field. Blades slashed at flesh, spears dug into hearts, bodies stacked onto bloodstained grass. The General plowed his way through the ranks. But a rider swung an axe at him and he fell off his horse. Rolling in the dust, the General lost his helmet. Ignoring his wound, he leapt to his feet, sword in hand. "COME ON!" But he was surrounded, his men all gone.. He was alone... A blade then sunk into his back... Falling to the ground, the General lost his sword. He could hear his enemy laughing. Frightened, he waited for his doom. But then a light appeared before him, the afterlife. It seemed to gesture at him, inviting him to come. The General realized his family was there waiting for him there. Convinced, he allowed himself to peacefully fade... As he entered the other realm, he breathed, "I am now Immortal."

Zachary Ulrich no, you misunderstand the story. Neither armies were immortals, in the beginning the Captain said he envied the immortals, he was talking about the gods (or the term immortals themselves). But as the general finds himself dying, he lets himself go and comes to the realization that in death he has become immortal. Does that make sense? :)

This is a nice extension of the original and I commend the OP for this. However this needs a little more work due to the fact that the breaks and cuts are a little too obvious and sharp. Also, the peak when the singer "shouts"(if you can call it that), is not repeated enough IMO and should be longer. Otherwise this is a great remix and great work.

To be honest... Not that good version. Not quite the same quality as Archangel "extended version" You have increased the parts where the change in the music comes natural... Ruins most of the song instead. Like 01:09 and 07:16
