Hi. Nice to see some one using a gas welding! For this kind of quite thin sheet metal gas welding is best option. Even compared to tig gas has it advantages. Im building my own moped exhaust for minarelli P4E engine and Im using quite thick material to ease welding with MIG.

Thick steel has the advantage of making the exhaust more quiet at least!

Is there any reason why MIG couldn't be used for this application or is there something special about gas welding for expansion chambers?
