Two Tanks One Pump (DIY fail-safe aquarium overflow system)

This system can be used to get water from lower down in your tank unlike many surface skimmer overflow systems. I have the water draining into a lower tank, but the same design could be used to drain into a sump.
**Since making the video, I added a float switch to the top tank. If the top tank gets too full, the pump shuts off automatically.**
