I recently purchased two rev a shelf products this two tier shelf system and the tilt out. We installed the tilt out and had major issues because the screw size was much much larger than 3/32 bit, maybe 3x the size of the 3/32 bit and so the screws wouldn’t go through the solid wood. Have the sizes changed? We installed it with the same drill, new bit as the last house and it didn’t have this issue. I have solid wood cabinetry, no mdf. Would that make a difference?

I want to install a two-tier pull-out in a 24" wide cabinet with two doors. There is no hinge-free side. What is your solution?

Hi Gussie! You can use wood to block out the hinge sides of the cabinet. That way the U-Frame that holds the baskets can mount securely to something, and also allow the product the clear the hinge. Or you can use a bottom mount two tier organizer, like this one rev-a-shelf.com/20343?product=29921. I hope this helps!

What is the distance between the back wall and the back U-Shaped bracket? There is a shorter topshelf in these cabinets.

Hi! You will still need to remove the small half-shelf in the back of your cabinet for this unit to work as intended.
