With babies, I think it's best to get rid of their needs all in one go, when it has a dirty diaper, just change it, feed it, give it attention and it's good for several hours, not crying every hour with a different need

I think it’s cool how you used the honey to bake the cake. Maybe at some point in the series, Sebastian can grow lots of vegetables and fruits too and only cook food he has the ingredients for. I like the idea of completely living off of the land. Plus, you wouldn’t have to pay to make meals.

The mom won't interact with the toddler if the toddler is sleeping or doing something else. Stop the toddler first and then the mom will be able to interact with the toddler.

"change sim" was added when they made the game inclusive for trans people. It lets you change everything about your sim including body shape gender-related stuff like whether they can pee standing up. "plan outfit" has been in the game from the beginning and only lets you change their clothes, hair and makeup.

The reason why people keep going into your house is because you can either put "unlock for everyone but household members" or another option, but you can't put both at the same time.. so what you've been doing is undoing the first option when you click on "unlock for all pets"

They're not messed up, James created a new save file when he started play with Frederick in City Living because the old one was becoming too heavy. So, now you have Lady, Anaya, Lacy, Sir e Little in save file and Frederick, Katrina and Sebastian in this one

The fireplace warms up the room the Sims and the fireplace is in, my sim lit her fireplace on her own the first day of winter and it was still going until the first day if spring when I told her to put it out 😂 also my birds of paradise are glitched I think... it's 4 seasons and I'm 2 seasons into the next cycle now and they haven't become harvestable once yet :/ there are still a few bugs and glitches I've noticed, like Sims standing around for ages doing nothing and having to be reset, parents not tending to toddlers needs after being told 5 times to do so, it's really frustrating tbh, also, you can automatically put up decs for holidays on the day of the holiday :)

Finding this series very entertaining, love that you posted 2 episodes in one day! Can definitely tell you are not used to playing the game with families in the story :) Have 7 sims in my household: 2 parents, 2 teens, 1 child and 2 toddlers. Things run like clockwork with high needs satisfaction most of the time. It does take a lot of practice to pull off, you are doing great at trying so far. If you want tips, there are two that will help out a lot: Tip #1 is to make sure your sims are completing basic needs tasks before all other tasks and getting the moodlits for them. For example: It helps sims stay full longer if they finish a meal and easier to finish things when they get a full nights sleep. Once you are able to get them on track for it, it is easy going and opens up extra productivity for more game play during your sim day. Tip #2 is to stop fast forwarding. It helps to keep things regularly paced when trying to task 4+ sims and make sure they are actually doing what you want them to do. It might seem slow at first if you are not used to it, but if you fast forward you can easily loose control of 3 and only have one sim achieve something. You will get a lot more done in less time if your sims are actually doing what you want them to leading to extra time for more game play options. Thanks for this fun series, looking forward to the next episode. Two toddlers is a bit of a challenge, but as Bela Karolyi said, "You can do it Karrie!" (if you don't get the reference watch a you tube video on it :) )

The night light for kids and toddlers can be found in Toys: Owl Nighlight. The wall light isn't it. I recommend getting more than one cause toddlers and kids can play with it and keep it in their inventory defeating the purpose. The nightlight also helps with toddler skills.

Enjoying this Let's Play so much, even though missing Mad Scientist also! James, grow some strawberries for your toddlers. Easy to find outside. They can eat them quickly, they won't go bad, just harvest and add them into their inventory until you have 20-30 in there. I keep 6-8 on the floor of the room most of the time, line them up to be eaten even before the toddler wakes up. Strawberries will take the edge off before school, between regular meals, or even...gasp... you can feed them entirely on strawberries past childhood! I send my doctors and scientists to work with them, too.... It helps SO MUCH ^_^

When you move to s bigger lot you should make like a mini flower shop/shack, you could put a bunch of arrangements out and have some shelves with plants and what not-that way you can have a nice place to sell from-without making an actual retail store and have to load all the time.

James, after some level of arranging flowers u can scent them, so best TIP: keep bluebells in your inventory and scent flowers with them. They give timeless boost so your flower arrangements won't wilt :)

When the fireplace is on, the fire actually does warm up the room it's in... So in winter your sims only get a cold moodlet in the other rooms if the thermostat is off! Pretty cool :D

The toddlers can climb up and down the stairs themselves...they can also dance. Both interactions build movement skills which makes them sims move faster and if the skills get high enough they will get a boost in physical skills as they transition to kids.

When you have your toddlers be independent, you can click on them and they can go on the potty by themselves and train themselves. The only thing you have to do with a toddler really is discipline and teach flash cards. You can drag food on the floor and they can get their own food. You can click on the potty and Richie can go to the potty on his own b/c he is independent!

Hi Semaj, A way to check if the Bird of Paradise is still broken is to check your house Inventory. If its broken it will be spawning full B.O.P plants in there instead of giving you the flowers when you harvest the spliced plant. That is whats happening to me but I haven't updated to the latest patch yet so I don't know if that's why mine is broke or if they haven't fixed it yet. Love your series its inspired me to do my own Rags to Riches Series which I am actually going to post to KZbin as one of my first Let's Play series' (I'm doing the Lunar Challenge by Koffee at the same time). Never posted anything on youtube before so it should be interesting
