Have you tried clicking on the microphone before the award and finally watch the cerimony? Maybe that's what's missing, maybe the game doesn't understand that you are participating in the cerimony. I clicked on it and watched the cerimony and won my award.

Famous sims should have more opportunities to make money if the pay for acting is so low. It seams like they made the KZbin career the real moneymaker. Actors should get offers to indorse products or business. IDK just seems like sims 4 is taking “starving artist” a little too literally.

It seems like movie gigs should be scheduled for longer than commercial gigs. Like, what they should've done was set it up so that you start out doing a commercial twice a week or whatever, but then one you get to TV or movies, you get scheduled to work for, like a solid week on the same gig. And the hours could be really weird, because sometimes you have to shoot at night and stuff. And maybe sometimes you'll end up going to a random lot or a vacation world (if you have it installed - I don't know how well overlapping packs works) and film "on location" Ideas are always easier to have than to put into place. I definitely think that having each movie take like four or five days to shoot would make more sense though.

You need to go there about 6PM or early and finished at 11PM there going t be around 4 or 5 awards each Sunday just hang around you'll get one for sure in 1 or 2 weeks time because you never fail in career and have a good rank. BTW if you go there too late it's gonna be only 2 or 3 awards only due the time they have I think :D

Hey james... i was wondering.. i think the get famous expansion pack really bothering me lately, because my sim just staring restaurant bussiness and random superstar sims came out and messing around with my restaurant progress.. all my costumers either really distracted with superstar sims or faint because of it.. do you know how to solve this.. sometimes i regret buying get famous expansion pack 🙁 #ineedhelp

What i know is that you can disable the pack. But if you still want to play get famous on your game then just kill their fame and turn their life around, just like what James did with Thorne, he deserved it

Yes, try turning off the option in Game Settings for Sims who aren't already famous, getting any fame. I don't have the pack yet, so I don't know what tab it's under. It might not help your current Game Save, because NPC's have been allowed to get more fame, and it won't take them back. But if you start a new Save, only the premade Sims will be Celebrities.
