I may have told you this before, but I think you are the only other person I’ve seen who holds their yarn (middle finger/left hand, holding project with forefinger and thumb) and their hook the same way I do. I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who does this! Not even my Gr. Gramma, who taught me how to crochet, didn’t hold hers the same way that we do, so I have no idea how it happened. 🤔😂🥰👍🏼

I’ve made a few of these nesting baskets but I love how you did the bottom edge before going up the sides. It looks so nice and it makes it look Like a thicker foundation. Almost like it has feet. Thank you for sharing this technique. 💝🥰🤗

I am not the best at crocheting, but I try and I can read patterns very well. When I come to the end of a row, I don’t have the space like you do, which leads me to conclude I’m doing something wrong. I have to put a marker in just to show me where I started.

maybe you are using a larger hook, they tend to make looser stitches and hence flimsy in nature
