Holy shit man ! I love orange and this is gorgeous! I bet it took a long time to tape and keep clean. I know what you mean about the illusion colors. I did a project for a friend a little while ago and while trying to wipe off the gold, it left a bunch of powder so for shits and grins I just went ahead and cooked it. It turned out pretty amazing, and my friend was very happy with the gold patina.

yeah metallic will leave that little bit, you can get away by cheating and doing a clear before the metallic, cure it, then any metallic you cant get wiped off that ends up curing to your part and you can just wet sand and polish it and you are good to go! Glad it worked out with your friend though!

Nice color. One thing I've always wondered is how do you hang your wheels? I see the eye hook, but wonder how it touches the wheel to complete the ground.

Have you done any wheels in Lollipop Red? I had mine done for my mustang and I was thinking the color would be different then how it is. If you look at the wheels they just look bright red, until the sun hits then there is metalic in it. I was hoping for more of a anodized red almost looking wheel.
