im still gonna main light but i may make an additional medium spear/bow build. There was an artifact (leaked or in db i forgot) that increased CC duration. The vault kick-jav combo might make a comeback cuz of that. possibly a low-effort medium bow dueling build as well if medium truly becomes meta and light becomes hell for unpotted duels

I'm an all-time melee player from mmo to mmo. It's a given to have a hard time fighting against range players, you need to know your mechanic and your opponent's mechanic too and time it right when to engage. Zerging as melee against range = straight to heaven (or hell in this case) Good video as always haha

i appreciate that but you have to admit some of your arguments are extremely biased. you say no one cares about melee meanwhile Whelps is the most watched pvp youtuber currently. me and arrowli both have higher sub counts than him and he gets double our views. that's quite literally a complete counter to your argument. if you're good at pvp and entertaining, you become popular. simple as that man. there's ton of ranged AND melee players that get no views/subs at all. You can't base skill around the popularity and public opinion of something. You told me yourself that you don't play bow. How can you comment on the skill cap of something without playing it? @@larkwyll7351 light assassin builds are better at 1v1 against bow in every scenario. duels, potted duel, open world 1v1s, doesnt matter lol. i struggle escaping from ONE good light assassin. there's no excuse that 6+ melee players can't catch me besides a lack of skill. be fr man. if the roles were reversed and i was a melee player in a group fighting 2 bows, they would die within 30 seconds

@@larkwyll7351 cuz bow/rapier and mage are the highest skill cap builds in the game so naturally there's gonna be more creators for them. go look at their upload history and 99/100 of those creators were playing bow back at launch when it was the weakest weapon in the game. there's tons of melee creators out there. just cuz they get less views than me and arrowli doesn't mean they're not out there
