Sometimes you never know what you’ll see on the D&L trail. I’m at the D&L Nagy’s Landing Trailhead in Bethlehem Township and the derailment happened on the other side in Lower Saucon Township.

Nice the engines were not fully submerged Looks like a straight section of the tracks although the drone did show a bit of a curve Grateful not a bunch of chemical tanks cars thanks for sharing Craig👍 My career was as a risk manager dealing with claims and disasters so I'm fascinated by things like this Cheers to health and happiness

Thank you very much. Yeah, this isn’t something you see everyday. It’s my only video that’s almost completely raw footage. I just wanted to get it out to everyone first and while it was still fresh in the news. Apparently a train became disabled and was then struck by another train. There was a third train that was stopped and was also hit. I however only saw two trains. No injuries except for a few trees. Unfortunately some diesel fuel did leak into the river. Have a great week.

The train terrain on this road due to the characteristics of the soil is very humid, therefore the terrain is very unstable, good video friend.

Wow what a mess! I'm glad noone was injured. I wonder how they clean that up. They probably have to bring a big crane or something to lift the cars out of the water. The terrain would make it tough to get big equipment in there too I imagine

Wow I get notifications on all these things probably cause I have looked at train things. I usually don't look and skipped them but decided to glance because we have been communicating and was surprised when I saw your name under the thumbnail. Wow that is crazy footage did you hear if the engineer and conductor are OK. I didn't hear if you mentioned sorry if I missed. Was that your drone footage? Thx for sharing.

Thank you. I usually take time to edit a video and make it nice but I wanted to get this one out while it was still fresh in the news. Nobody was hurt except a few trees hit by the train. There was some diesel fuel that leaked out into the river. All of the footage here was mine. I was told that a train became disabled and was then struck by another train. Apparently there was a third train that was involved as well but I could not find it. I only saw the two engines in the river.

It was raining here all day without a minute break. I was waiting to fly the drone. The rain never let up and I said I don’t care I’m gonna risk losing my drone in the river. I wanted those drone shots bad. It got soaked but no damage. No Easter egg either. This was almost all raw footage. Nobody was hurt except for a few trees.

The roads are blocked off on the side of the river with the trains. However, the other side has the best view.

Thank you. That is true, it was almost under water. As it started to get dark you could see the trains lights still on under the water. It was pretty neat.
