Sometimes, the fruit is so delicious, you want as many as you can get your hands on. For me, two trees in my orchard fit that description. In this video, I'll show my blooming Arctic Star and Spice Zee.

Planted a spice zee in Feb bare root, amazed at the growth in a little over a month! Looking forward to eating some next year

You're going to love it. Let those roots establish this year and then gradually increase fruit production over the next 3 years.

Been growing both those varieties for a few years now and they are some of the most reliable for SoCal. Arctic Star is especially a super producer for me. the fruits ripen around mid-late June and they are sugar bombs. i think it has great flavor 8/10. and i would def recommend anyone to grow Arctic Star. Personally i think Snow Queen has a better flavor for a white nectarine but you will get way more fruits with A.S. As for SpiceZee, superb quality. delicious syrupy flesh that is rich and sweet. not sugary like A.S. but sweet enough to satisfy anyone. 9.5/10 right behind Flavor King.

I got one fruit of my Spice Zee Nectaplum two seasons ago. This year looks like 3 dozen. Even if it had never produced again I would keep it for the Beauty it brings to my Food Forest Garden but to me the fruit stands out with a difference in flavor of other stone fruit it could be the ugliest tree in the garden for that 😅

My first taste thought was cinnamon. I haven't tasted that flavor in any other fruit right off the tree. I agree, the tree looks great. It inspired me to buy an ornamental cherry plum for my front yard, which also produces red leaves.

I’m excited to try some spice zee nectaplums this year. I bought and planted one last spring after I saw your video, and it’s currently in full bloom with the leaves slightly behind yours. Besides my 5 in 1 “showy flowers” peach and nectarine tree the spice zee is definitely my favorite looking tree. Sadly I’m not really a white fleshed peach/nectarine lover, but maybe I just haven’t found the right one yet.

I'm excited for you to try it! I wasn't big into white flesh until this tree, so I think nectaplums might convince you, too.
