I feel sorry for the people who actually think they’re accomplishing something shooting these deer.. they’re fenced in, fed like crazy, and get lured into feeding areas where you shoot them from a comfy chair and rest. Literally anyone could do it. Real hunting is getting out there on foot and putting it dozens of miles to shoot a real wild deer that has every chance to hear or smell you.

Allen Wilson , then Keith should have said so. I’m in Arizona, I come across rattlers all the time. It has never occurred to me to just kill it for killings sake. I remove them for sure, and if I want to eat it (they are good), or tan the hide, (not worth the effort). I hunt and fish, but I don’t go out of my way to take out rattelers, they are needed.

Hunting by definition is looking for something that you do not know the location of. Shooting is a different story. Ive HUNTED for 40+ yrs, knowing that a wall hanger is going to be in front of you because its easiest food source is 50yds away is not hunting. Chasing a deer with a dog so it has no option but to run the other way is not HUNTING, just patient shooting. Boy hunt a 3+yr old buck on land without a 15’ fence and out smart him in his home court and i will have respect for whatever skill you have. But this here, do not claim to be a hunter, just claim to be a decent shot or whatever makes you feel good. Hunters know what im saying and the only people mad right now are just shooters and matter not a tinkers damn to me, ive competed in the wimbleton of shooting contest 4x, you are not worth a real hunter or shooters time.
