I’d argue that we were happier and healthier because we were doing something productive, fun and exercising at the same time. An important afterthought: Before you go ballistic on the cashier at the register for asking you to "round up" or "donate" you need to remember that this is not something SHE asks you to do! She is NOT the culprit in this audacious ask! This is 💯coming from her boss who has told her to ask EVERY DAMNED CUSTOMER she checks out and if she doesn't ask (there's guaranteed a CCTV-footage to show) she'll either be withhold some percentage of her salary OR get sacked! So bear with her! Because
