You are right :) The only thing is..at -10°C I needed something to keep my hands above freezing temperatures xD

thanks for posting. some thoughts. the Design of the speaker Recess into the baffle is Not correct. why. it puts a rounded but HARD surface right at the beginning of the Dispersion cone. just WRONG. if you want to do it Correctly. the front of the baffle should be recessed, to allow the speaker mounting Flange to lie FLUSH with the surface of the Baffle. period. cheers

David Davids Hello David! Thank you for your reply. I know that the audiophile way to make a speaker is to recess the speakers so they run flat with the baffle. I just happen to like the look of the fully backmounted drivers. Although it is not the correct way to install them according to audiophiles, it is the way they still sound more than good enough (far above average) to me whilst being a beautiful addition in my living room.

David Davids Everyone has his/her opinion on the matter but in the end..Who are we to judge eachother? I value looks as much as I value sound and you might put sound first no matter what. Whatever floats your boat..
