I enjoyed your van tour. I also stayed at T=18 at Peaks of Otter. Great site. Lots of wildlife there. Blessings from Teri Hope and my dog Maddie.

I stayed at Mt Pisgah 7 years ago about this time of year and climbed Mitchell. It's great!

enjoyed your video of the BRP. I live at the foothills near Love Gap on the Parkway and do lots of camping around there. I too stayed at T-18 at Peaks of Otter. It was great and the only level one there. I'm leaving at the beginning of June to do the Parkway from my area in Va near Waynesboro MP 0, and will end in Cherokee. Don't really know how long I will be out but will just turn around and come back. I travel with my Lab named Maddie. I just looked at the comment below and it was me. I had already sent a note. Anyway that's life. Again thanks for your tour and all the info. Blessings,

I think I may have eaten a Honey Bun at the restored diner you guys stopped at. I was on a motorcycle trip in the early 1980 and I had just gotten into North Carolina from Tennessee and ran into pea soup fog. I stopped at the first place I could find and I think that was it. The trip going south from there a half hour later was one of the most memorable travel days of my life. The fog had lifted about 30 or 40 feet off of the road and it was like you were traveling into a dream. A really, really neat experience. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

I love the BRP and it's so nice to see it again now that I live on the West coast. I used to do some hiking on the Appalachian trail and was told a cute story about how the Peaks of Otter were named because, from a specific angle, they looked like otter ears?! I thought they were full of it, but it does make a cute story!

Love the Blue Ridge, thanks for sharing!

Blue Ridge is such a beautiful drive, our class A is a bit too large to take up there but we have driven the bulk of it in our Jeep going back to the campgrounds off the parkway each night. We were in VA a couple weeks ago and drove up to Peaks of the Otter for a couple hours of relaxation. We were at Petersburg USACE last week and boy were you right, that is an awesome campground! And one we will be going back to for get-a-ways from our home base for the next couple months , we are getting some upgrades done to the RV, mainly solar!!!! Safe travels!

Another great vid! Thanks for all the great info, you guys were instrumental in my purchase of a used Travato-your early review, pro & con were stop on Really enjoy your cruising vids also, living in the Keys over 30 yrs-and I’m terribly ignorant about the rest of Florida! I’m SO looking forward to your adventures in your big bus!

Have not enjoyed the thrill of this beautiful drive since I last saw it in autumn while I was in college (a long, long time ago). It is definitely on my list to do one more time, again in autumn. Lovely vlog.

Thanks for sharing your 2 week journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I’ve been on several different sections but never with an RV. Do you think a Casita being towed would work on the parkway?
@Technomadia3 жыл бұрын
We've done parts of the parkway in our Oliver (similar to the Casita).. and saw many of them this trip.

So what dates were you there? Can't believe you did not use ac at all! It has been so hot here in north east NC.

so is the PUMA 5G antenna so much better than the Mobile mark or Parsec Husky that it is worth changing????.. I fly to Iowa and pick up my 2022 Travato GL on 15 September.. been 10 months since I ordered it..

If you're one of our members check out our 'In Progress' forums - we've posted a lot testing data there.

yes.. I'm a member of your mobile internet resource center (MIA).. I have read much of your "in progress" including the details of your BRPW trip.. still would like to know your thoughts -- I know you switch for testing - etc.. but does the PUMA/PEPwave 5G antenna perform enough better or not to replace a mobile mark 5G or Parsec Husky for a regular user like me...

You guys talk so fast I can't catch the name of the campgrounds and I was wanting to write them down.
