Once they are weaned they go into a mob with a nanny horses, either an older retired gelding or mare who keeps them in order in the paddocks and teaches them where to run into or not to gallop and fret!

At what age do you wean them? This one looks quite young.

Hi Suzanne, Depends on how big they are physically as well but usually around the 5-6 months of age.
