I once thought I saw a skinwalker on a backroad in the middle of the street at around one in the morning. I could have sworn it was like coat lying on the ground that started getting up right in front of me. It looked like it was 7 feet tall and scared tf out of me. Turns out it was a cow that escaped and was sleeping in the middle of the road.

Scared myself half to death once when two deer decided to take a stroll in the middle of the road on an extremely foggy night, where I could only see their rumps in my mirror, skinny as can be.

I got absolutely terrified like instant adrenaline rush From me seeing a demonic face in my window just looking into my house Anyway I grabbed my gun instantly (it was literally on the table next to me as I was going hunting soon ran outside with my gun while trembling and only not crying because of adrenaline And what did I see no not a demon but a cheap halloween mask left by my nephew from a Halloween party from like 2 years ago I think it was able to get infront of the window from wind but dear god I was shaking I couldn’t even load my gun properly when I grabbed it

With the first story, I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of calling the high points of Minnesota "Mountains". I grew up in Pennsylvania but my Dad is from out there, and I've always hated how extremely flat the land is when we go to visit family 😂

Agreed, i think the scariest part of the first story was when Carter went into the woods and him saying him hearing and seeing the wendigo sounding like Sarah, and him saying it was coming from the things throat, that was chilling, i was able to picture it

I remember when I thought I saw a zombie when I was driving at 11:00 at night in the middle of a cornfield when it was actually a wendigo 😅 So basically, me and my sister and cousin were driving through the country to my brothers house. It was in either Kentucky or Indiana- somewhere near there. I had an old black Chevy Eclipse, good storage long-distance car. We were currently driving through a densely wooded area with few roads, houses few and far. There were almost nobody on the road at the time, which was strange, even though we were deep down I n country. I was in the drivers side, sis in passenger, cousin in back. I remember driving under a massive pine, the road between a large cornfield. Perfect horrorstory plot, eh? My sister pointed to something over the dashboard, in the cornfield. I followed her finger. A large, black, I think was furred creature was just- staring blankly out into the road. At first I thought it was a scarecrow, then a fucking zombie horse from minecraft when I saw an ear twitch. Then it turned its head to face us, massive rack of antlers atop its sunken head. I swallowed a gulp of fear, pressing the pedal to speed faster away from the cornfield. I remember glancing back, my back lights illuminating its bright yellow eyes. Then I saw them flicker and disappear. I was shaking after that, an uncomfortable silence filling the car.
