Why didn't they put up a conveyor system to load the dumper trailer from the pit. By doing so all Excavators could be in action as all they need to do is feeding the conveyor's chute which further feeds the conveyor.

There is not a lot of space, and the hole keeps getting deeper, so you'd end up shifting the conveyor around a lot.
