I know it's been years since the video's initial post, but the servers are officially closed. I am trying to verify if Hamachi still works but I am getting reports of hella crashes with Hamachi as of date. Will keep you posted.

@@HeyItsJonny Haven't tried those two yet. As for Hamachi I am unable to get through at all. Gonna try the next two and see what's up now. If both fail, then today (or whenever the servers officially shut down) is the day Two Worlds officially died.

graphics are really good for an 07 game. man the title screen brought back so much nostalgia. waking up early on saturdays to play this game.

I played it super late in its lifetime in 2015, so I missed out on the online popularity and consistent online lobbies :( Fun game in single player, and an excellent game between owning oblivion and skyrim. The second one really dropped the ball though, it's ui was absurd on xbox and steam. It's a shame, because the world and the lore was pretty good.

@@HeyItsJonny you also gotta keep in mind it came out shortly after oblivion. And also, you didn't miss much on the online space. Most people made league of legends seem non-toxic in comparison, and there were either people getting mad at exploiters or exploiters. At least that's how I remember it. Oh and there were mad hustlers, wearing starting gear and then in the duel they switch to +2000 giant swords.

It’s a shame all of the servers are dead. I remember the good old days (some twelve years ago) when most of the rooms had a substantial amount of people playing. Killing Groms seemed so easy back then, and now it’s a pain in the behind.

Unfortunately, the multiplayer component of this game no longer functions. The characters in multiplayer and single player were independent of each other, and you did not need to play single player first.

Make sure if you are using windows 10 to have a windows feature called directplay enabled

Currently, no. The game relies on connecting to a server and keeping player files server-side. If there was a way to create a new server list, as well as host a server, I'd love to know.

@@HeyItsJonny ive joined the discord but the method is so complicated you need to spend 3 years at coding school just to understand whats going on and the explinations just asume you know everything anyway.

Unfortunately, all 3 war net servers immediately disconnect when I attempted to connect just now. Maybe there is a way to use Tunngle or Hamachi to play? I'll have to check into it and when I do I will reply here. If I'm successful, I'll be making a vidyuh about it.Currently I'm a truck driver, and I rarely get the ability to play online games, so it will be quite a while before I get the chance. I have 4 days of home time for every 24 days out on the road, so sometime towards the end of March or start of April I will have the ability to try and figure this out. However, being gone so long, I only get to dedicate 1 day to gaming because I spend 2 on family and 1 on fixing broken shit and preparing for the next trip. Thankfully, I was able to check before I leave tomorrow, so I will make sure to get a bit of searching done or even attempt a cellular connection later on.

I was having issues connecting after the Creators Update on Windows 10 64 bit. That update erased all of my network settings across 4 PCs, and all I wanted to do at the time was play Two Worlds. Well, I couldn't connect, so I got to assigning my static IP addresses to all of the PCs and then reassigning my DNS back to OpenDNS as primary and GoogleDNS as my secondary, as well as fixing my LAN settings back the way I had them. In doing all of that, Two Worlds allowed me to connect and play. I have no idea what change made the connection work, but I can give you a short list of the changes I reapplied to my LAN. 1 Assigned static IP addresses to each PC. 2 Assigned custom DNS settings, I used OpenDNS and GoogleDNS 3 Assigned my port triggering ranges in my router to my new static IP addresses that I just created in step 1. 4 Disabled Windows HomeGroup and switched to User Accounts for LAN Login LAN purposes, so that I could p2p file share on my LAN without using the internet. None of these steps makes sense as to why Two Worlds would break and then fix itself, but the W10 Creator Update borked a lot of shit on my entire network and all of the PCs I applied the update onto. All of those things are somewhat advanced, so I wouldn't recommend trying them unless you know what you're doing, or if you're brave enough to follow online tutorials.

Hey, I barely bought the game this week and it wont let me actually go into a online mission. It lets me go into the lobby to choose a mission and all but the moment I try to choose the mission like Komorin the game crashes. The farthest I got was into the game and then crashing instantly

I just tested it and I can play the single player perfectly fine. It is just crashes (two worlds has stopped working) when I go online in a server and try to set up a match or even try to join one.

Tainted Matic Windows 10 has a legacy feature that you have to enable for older games, I don't remember specifically what it is but if you just type into the search bar Windows features and look for the Legacy tab to enable something in there. When I get to some better internet I will Google search it for you and post the name of the component

The enable new players feature is to allow people to join mid-game. Meaning if you leave it unchecked, you can only play with the people you start the mission with. :) The dedicated map button is actually the quest log button. Press "L" by default.

If you are using Steam, I'd try the "Verify game cache" feature. I don't currently have the game installed, but if you can figure out which folder is holding texture data, try deleting that folder and then using the "verify game cache" feature. inxile.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004662908-Verify-game-cache-files-Steam-

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to tell you. I had a similar issue that only occurred when i tried to connect after making a character, so I just used Steam to verify the integrity of the game cache and my problem was solved, however that wont work for anyone using a disc or GOG.com release.

Try reinstalling the game and deleting the two worlds save folder, C:\Users\{your username}\Saved Games\Two Worlds Saves

Also make sure to delete any configuration files in that location so that the game is forced to create and run off of default settings.

Make sure to turn off caps lock, and make sure to differentiate between Os and zeros. If you need to show the cdkey in steam use the steam overlay to show the key, or right click the properties tab of the game and go to the cdkey tab.

It´s weird, many people hate the game, but actually, the youtube videos always have more likes and very few dislikes- really, very few. Guess it´s the HELGATE LONDON´s syndrome. I like the game, I am playing it rght now. The first time I played the game, I completely hated it, could not go far from the starting point and being killed by wolves. So, I let it lived in my computer for a while (like 3 or 4 years in my hard disk, aging like wine) And now, 2017 I can´t stop playing it hahahaa. I really like to ride my horse and killed bitches. The only thing I still don´t understand is how can I kill certain creatures cuz magic and some weapons can´t killed them like the Ogres (damn basterds are huge and ugly as hell) Where can I buy some lockpicks, none of the groms or grums or whatever you write, have them, like in Oblivion, jo. I spent playing that goddam game that I used to some of its mechanics.But this game is totally different and the magic spells are 100% better. Animations and voice dialog (guess everybody agree on it are shit, shit and shit) well, i guess I will spent more time killing those dragon creatures and the raptor-like eating my shit gives the creeps. PAz, amigo.

@@HeyItsJonny lol its true. On steam they say "Oh you can play it with some friends" but wtf you can't. I finally got this game to work on win10, activated the whole shit and nothing lol. I can only choose single player and then the campaign or the other dlc levels. What a trash game, definitely not worth the time just for the "mUlTiPlAyEr"
